Fresh bottle served in a Duvel tulip. Pours a mostly clear orange yellow with an inch of foamy, off white head and good lacing. Aroma is very floral. Pine, tangerine, tropical fruit salad, and freshly rained on trees. Taste is somewhat bitter up front. Pine, grapefruit, and oranges come to mind. There is some wheat there, along with a bit of lemon and caramel in the back. Mouthfeel is medium thin and a little sticky. Overall itís a good beer, just sort of one dimensional...the malt back is pretty hidden in this one. novels (424) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 9, 2012
Intense hoppiness, highlighted by a distinct amber pour with a thin but foamy head. Pretty crisp, good for a hop lover, but no particularly interesting points of note. Benfi (692) - DENMARK - SEP 9, 2012
Pours a clear golden amber color with a fantastic creamy slightly off white head. Man!!! the nose on this is just amazing. Tons of pineapple, citrus, hop resin, pine and balanced with some malt on the backend. The flavor doesnít let the nose down at all, all of the wonderful flavors that I get on the nose with a perfect amount of feel to the body and balanced bittering to finish. gunnfryd (14807) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 8, 2012

12oz this time, but I know Iíve drank gallons upon gallons of this. Pours a medium gold with a pillow of a head. Just looks like someone put marshmallow fluff in there! What a fuckin aroma we have here....how many fruits can we name? Tangerine, mango, papaya, various citrus, peach, and a million others. Slight piney hops but dominated by fruit tones. The flavor is much of the same but super easy to drink dispite the abv. Refreshing caramel and citrus notes linger with a slight warming alcohol hit. Mmmmm how easy this goes down. Thanks Lag!

12 oz. bottle from SoHo Organic Market in Elizabeth City, NC. Dark orange pour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of pine needles, tangerine, and grapefruit rind. Citrusy hops are showcased here with very little in the way of a malt balance but it is hardly missed since the hop profile is not very bitter. Almost too easy to drink so be careful. A really nice IPA from Laguitas. Oscbert (1296) - Lincoln, California, USA - SEP 7, 2012
~Piney resinous grapefruity hop aroma with sweet cloying malt that is found in most West Coast IPAís. Tangerine
~Pours clear golden with lasting big creamy head.
~Resinous grapefruity tangerine flavor with sweet malts.
~Med full bodied, creamy, med low CO2, sweet then bitter finish.
~Enjoyable IPA. I like that the hops arenít way over the top like so many other West Coast IPAís. DruncanVeasey (8225) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - SEP 4, 2012

ís, Sandy Lane, CA, 11/08/12. Clean dusted gold with a slim but enduring head. Perfumed, soft mango and papaya aroma. Bitter, fresh herbal hop (bay?); soft tropical mango and soapy flowers backed with pale bready malt. Goes down like the devil in velvet trousers in the CA sunshine after an 11hr flight. Rather lovely.
Bottle, 12oz. Itís a golden beer, almost clear, and topped by a dense, off-white head. Malty nose with a light grassy scent. Caramel, tropcial fruit mix, citrus and spiced hints too. The flavor has a maltyness in the back, with citrus, tropical fruits and some grassy hints up front. A nice bitterness kicks in towards the end. Smooth, soft and almost full-bodied, finishing with a fine bitterness. Although a bit too much on the malty and sweet side, itís a fine IPA. 120413 kuphish (381) - Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA - AUG 31, 2012
Bottle @ Riverside Market. Pours a clear, golden body. Clingy, white, eggshell head. Huge hop aroma of peaches, light pine, some tangerine, and white grape. Really juicy. Hops persist in the flavor. A little bready malt teases in the background. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Very lightly sticky, but avoids any annoying resinous qualities. Hop forward - they are definitely the star here. Stiff bitterness isnít aggressive. Makes this a great thirst quenching beer. Fragrant, hoppy finish. An excellent beer that I will certainly be purchasing again in the near future.
