An excellent IPA! Lagunitas doesn’t disappoint. Golden amber color, modest head, faint aroma of hops. When you take a sip that’s when the magic happens. A nicely balanced brew with big malt taste and a big hop finish.

Nice head upon pour and has a nice burn after tasting from the carbonation. Has a nice spruce aroma. Yellow appearance. Mild hop/bitterness taste with an "evergreen" aftertaste. Smooth. Not really a "punch in mouth" but very adequate. Like it more I sip on it! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. bottle at home. Dark golden color. White head with long retention and good lace. Strong resinous aroma with citrus (grapefruit). Flavor is resinous bitter with a light malty sweet backbone, slightly herbal. Medium bodied. Finishes rather dry and herbal bitter. Quite sumpin’ else.

Scipio (1242) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - OCT 31, 2012
Pours a slightly carbonated golden with a medium white head. Very nice hoppy aroma consisting of floral hops, pineapple, grapefruit, and orange. The taste has much of these fruity impressions with the grapefruit really coming out here. There are some yeasty and wheat flavors that become most apparent at the end. Aftertaste is grapefruit and wheat. This one is more on the bitter side. Medium bodied and crisp when drinking, with some average carbonation. This is a great effort. I really enjoyed this.

Great IPA with a well rounded, full smooth body. Super hoppy, but not ovrbearingly so. Lovely wafting citrus and pine hops - a little flowery too. Nice balance for a WCIPA. Long, dry finish. A touch creamy. Easy drinking.

Smells citrusy, grapefruit, barnish, fresh malts.
Taste/ has that really fresh malt taste to it, nice bright citrus, really well balanced! Medium to full body, great carbonation.
