Way smooth and silky with a nice wheaty-esque-ish-ness. Just the little sumpin’ sumpin’ we all need to kick Summer into full swing! Ingredients: Hops, Malt, Hops, Hops, Yeast, Hops, Water, and Hops.

Bottle. Pours a clear and dark golden color with a moderate head. Great and strong floral nose on this one. Not too bitter on the taste, but very flavorful. Me gusta.

EKGoldings (673) - Radford, Virginia, USA - OCT 20, 2012
On tap @ Sharkey’s in Radford. Dark golden, nice persistent head in a pint glass. Citrusy hops with some malt on the nose. Taste is American hops with some nice malt thrown in for balance. Pretty dam good, I had another, thank you please.

Chipalsa (1310) - Florida, USA - OCT 20, 2012
Bottle from ABC

Appearance - Bronze body, thin head

Aroma - Honey, grapefruit, bread

Taste - Hoppy, sweet citrus, caramel, bitter finish

Lots of hops are balanced by an equivalent sweetness. Add a refreshing dryness to the finish... simply another great beer from this brewery.

Treebs (872) - , Illinois, USA - OCT 20, 2012
Enjoyed on draft at Wild Monk. Served in a Stone IPA shaker pint.

A: Pours a clear golden yellow color with a nice one finger height of pure white head forming on the pour. It recedes slowly to a thick cap and collar that leaves some nice sheets of lace down the glass.

S: Juicy citrus on the nose. some candied orange and definite tangerine. Sweet wheaty malts are present on the back end as well.

T: Nicely hopped just like the nose. Burst of citrus fruits and tree fruits with a little bit of lingering herbal bitterness to give it another depth of flavor. There is a nice cracked wheat and sweet malt body to the beer as well.

M: Medium to light bodied with a nice medium high carbonation level. The finish is creamy and sweet with a tinge of bitterness.

O: I’m very impressed by this beer. Great citrus hop presence with a sweet malt and wheat body. I will definitely revisit in the future.

Serving type: on-tap

Clear orange with almost white head.
Aroma is pine, grape fruit, peach and orange. Taste the same with a malty backbone. Very fruity, very citrus.
Low carbonation, medium body, bitter finish.
Quite sweet. No problem with me.
Fine and very tasteful IPA.

TheHOFF43 (2052) - Robbinsdale, Minnesota, USA - OCT 12, 2012
Bottle. Pours a clear copper with minimal head. Aroma is floral hops with some definite citrus notes. Flavor matches the aroma with some bitterness at the end. Very tasty IPA.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 10/6/12

Aroma: The nose is a mix of tropical fruits and resin/pine hops mostly, with some malty notes

Appearance: It pours a hazy orange color with a small foam of white head and drippy lace

Flavor: The taste is light-medium sweet, it is fairly tropical, and it has a medium hop bitterness

Palate: The body of this one is medium, it has a soft carbonation, a creamy feel, and a somewhat dry finish

Overall Impression:
This rating is a long time overdue, as I have always really enjoyed A Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’. This is really quality beer from Lagunitas, with a great hop presence. Good stuff for sure!

tiong (7669) - Espoo, FINLAND - OCT 6, 2012
Bottle @ SBWF’12

Pours clear copper orange with a large foamy head. Aroma of fruits, grass, hops, hints of spices. Taste is malty, sweetish and caramely with some fruity and grassy hops. Finish is sweetish and hoppy with caramely notes. Okay, quite typical but tasty American IPA.
