Purchased a 6-pack of this beer from Shop ’N Save for $8.99. Poured beer into a Tulip glass and the rest is history.
Appearance- Blondish color, lacey head, and cloudy throughout
Smell- Very hoppy, has a hint of pine aroma with a peppermint background.
Taste- Tastes like a wheat beer mixed with some Belgian ale.
Mouthfeel- Medium bodied beer, is anxiously awaiting on my palate for another drink to keep setting me up for Nothing...
Drinkability- May be easy to drink for some but others could only drink one of these and have to switch to something lighter/sweeter. I enjoyed 4 out of the 6-pack and let my girlfriend’s Dad have the other two.

I liked this a lot. Big foamy head and lots of lacing, light gold. Lots of fruit in the nose, fresh citrus and and dried apricots. Smooth, fruit follows the nose and adds maybe a little clementine at the finish. Nice balance, refreshing. nyindiansfan (463) - rochester, New York, USA - AUG 5, 2012
Bottle pours a dark yellow close to orange. Not much head. Tastes smells of citrus grapefruit small booze caramel. Tasteucg the same nice bit kind of dry. Pretty good. MrBeerFanatic (1065) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - AUG 4, 2012
Light amber in color with a light carbonation. Big aromas of fruity hops, peach, and slight apricot. Flavors of peach/apricot, fruity hops, and sweet caramel behind all the hops. Did not find the flavors to be that complex but a potent punch of hop combinations mostly on the fruity side. The flavors and the aromas come through very well together. They complement each other. Theres a good medium sweetness with a light dry and medium bitter finish. I like on the bottle it say’s under Net Contents: "12 fluid oz’s......of hops, malt, hops, yeast, hops, water and hops." That "." (period) really says alot about the beer.

Wow!!! What a great beer for a great price. I've heard good things about this beer and even the clerk at the beer store told me I made a great choice. Low on hoppy bitterness and great taste from start to finish. Had to stop at two beers because this 7.5% beer packs a punch. This will end up as one of my favorite summer beers.

Bottle. Pours clear yellow-orange with a medium off-white head that dissipates slowly with nice lacing. Aroma is dominated by citrus and grapefruit, with minor caramel malt notes mixed in. Flavor is slightly sweet, grapefruit dominated with some caramel malt and a medium bitter finish. Buttery in texture (but not flavor). otakuden (1783) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JUL 26, 2012
Appearance: clear straw with mild orange hues under a thick head which fades into a thin unbroken layer of bready whites. Slow trickle of bubbles keep a nice thickness to the head while she swirls with nice lacey spots.
Nose: tropical – mango, papaya, guava, and honeydew – with a sweetness of the flesh inside white the bitterness of their skins provides a nice balance along the edges. Husked golden cereal grains. Tickle of spice in the back – cumin and candied ginger. Softness of brushed golden leather.
Palate: tropical fruit skins and harvested cereal grains from start to finish. Big in the front with a smack of tropical fruit sweetness leading into a soft bready sweet tropical middle and finishes with more crisp tropical fruit skins and crunchy cereal grains. Chewiest in the middle. The breath is dry, reminiscent of a golden grain harvest. Spice is a whisper weaving in and out with candied ginger and a hint of sage. Flower petals in the breath.
Final Thoughts: fresh tropical delights hold a little sumpin’ of A Little Sumpin’ Sumpin Ale together. Bold and refreshing. Brisk and chewy. Dry and sweet. Spicy and floral. Another tasty winner from the fine folks at Lagunitas.
