4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
INFORMATION: 12oz bottle with no freshness date. I know that Lagunitas usually puts a code on the bottle from which you can determine what day of the year that it was brewed, but there is no such code here. This bottle is from this Spring’s batch, so it’s pretty fresh. 64 IBUs....7.5% ABV.
APPEARANCE: Pours a pale yellow-orange color with a good two fingers worth of off-white colored head floating on top. Plenty of carbonation bubbles visible within the glass. Pretty good clarity for a wheat beer. Impressive lacing sticking to the inside of the glass with each sip.
NOSE: Orange, lemon, mango, juicy fruit gum, musk melon! This beer is fruiTy with a capital T! Behind the wall of citrus lies subtle hints of this being a wheat beer.
TASTE: Good light wheat flavor up front, but it’s short lived. Fruity flavors come rushing in just as the aroma suggest. There’s a touch of hop bitterness towards the middle, but this beer is big on the citrus, and not so much on the bitterness. The flavor of the wheat shows itself again towards the back end. Soft fruity finish begs for you to take another sip.
MOUTHFEEL: Medium bodied with a soft carbonation.
OVERALL: The best of the best where wheat beers are concerned.
Morey’s Bottom Line: The first time that I had this, I was floored. I’ve had it several times since, and nothing’s changed. If you see this, by all means....grab a six pack!
Incredibilmente buona e beverina. motthes (236) - GERMANY - JAN 14, 2018

.Appearance: Clear pale yellow, white head.
.Aroma: Resiny, hop forward, west coast IPA scent. Tropical - notes of grapefruit, pineapple, melon. Subtle malt presence.
.Taste: Hop forward (array of tropical flavor), malt sweetness balancing it out. Nice amount of bitterness, but still remains very easy drinking.
.Mouthfeel: Medium body, medium carbonation. Dry finish. Sticky, creamy.
Bottom Line: Characteristics of a wheat, an IPA, and a pale ale blend together to make something very delicious. thebeerbandit (41) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 31, 2017

Had with Abby while watching “Flatliners” on New Year’s Eve.
From the bottle. Translucent orange/yellow with good lacing. 1 finger white head.
Nose is big dank and piney hops. Pungent and inviting.
Taste is piney bitter hops with sweetness from the wheat. Balance is incredible.
Thick chewy mouthfeel with just a bit of prickle from the carbonation.
Overall, this is probably my favorite beer. Sweet and bitter with crazy depth from the hops. Love it. TomHendriksen (1018) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 28, 2017
Fles gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een helder goudkleurig bier met een medium witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een wat hoppig aroma. De smaak is hoppig, citrus en wat moutig.

Piney nose, some fruitiness as it warms up and breathes. Crisp bright palate with a wheaty snap. Mainly bitter flavor with a backbone of maltiness and a touch of sweetness. Some lemony notes. Lingering bitter finish. Good brew, but at 7.5%, the ABV is a bit too high for a beer of this kind. Mpuntmuts (370) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 30, 2017
Clear orange yellow pour with a medium sized head. Aroma of light malts, hops, wet dog, caramel/butterscotch, bit of pine and musty basement yeast. Very nicely balanced between the sweet and the bitter. Medium body with medium carbonation. Very handsome IPA.
