Slightly hazy amber beer, little white head. Smooth silky palate, semi dry. Very sweet piney hops with a caramel malt backbone. Light dry finish. Something of an odd beer from this great brewer, The sweet pine is a bit cloying. Certainly drinkable but not up to usual Lagunitas standards.
Draft at Birreria Paradiso. Clear pale yellow, small but thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of lemon peel and white pepper. Taste has lots of citrus flavors and a bitter finish. Very nice. cgarvieuk (24236) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 1, 2011
