Tap at Rattle n Hum. Pours a mostly clear, golden-yellow with a medium, white cream head. Bready aroma with hints of spice, fruits and phenols. Fairly sweet flavor, more spice and fruit, some light caramel, mild hops in the finish. Light to medium in body, very smooth, with average carbonation. Not wild by any stretch of the imagination, so I think that’s something of a misnomer. Very good, though, and quite drinkable. Rasmus40 (21689) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 28, 2011

Bottle, 22oz, thx to Meilby. It’s almost clear, golden in color and with a lacings leaving off-white head. The aroma is sugary sweet, with pine cones and tropical fruits. Quite pleasant. It’s a bit too sweet on the palate, but still it’s quite dry. Full body. Sweetness, biscuity maltyness, a fine bitterness, tropical fruits and green pine cones, finishing fruity and bitter, not too sweet. A rather pleasant one, feels a bit too sweet, but still very nice. 120211 brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 9, 2010
A: The pour is a nice golden orange color with a surprisingly small white head and some minimal lacing.
S: A big burst of citrus hop aroma up front gives this one much more of an IPA feel. With a little warming up, some of the yeast esters come through and I pick up some bubblegum, pepper, and spicy yeast esters. That said, the hops are still dominant.
T: Fairly heavy on the spices (yeast contributions) with some great fruitiness. Tangerine and grapefruit are the biggest fruit notes I get, and the bitterness is there, but does not overwhelm the beer.
M: The body is medium with a carbonation that borders medium and high--not over-carbonated, however.
D: I wasn’t exactly sure what the "wild" character of this beer was upon drinking it, though some research has shown this beer did spend some time with Brett. At this point, it’s like most of the other good Lagunitas beers: hoppy.
