Pours amber with substantial white head. Bitter aroma, unpleasant taste. I was expecting something different, but did not find it.

Bottle. Golden pour with a white head. Sour citrus. Bright. Easy drinker. Good. j12601 (12973) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAY 29, 2017
On tap at ISO: Beer. Pours a softly hazed gold with a thin white head. Big bright citrus, musk, a bit of grapefruit on the nose. Medium bodied, tangy and a bit of salinity. Tart and bright with some earthy lemon, preserved lemon, wheat, tartness. Soft tangy quality, malt and a bit of lingering acidity. Very tasty stuff. Much more interesting than I would have thought.

Extremely refreshing. Sour and fruity with some elegant hopping to create a sparkling and crispy brew. A masterpiece! beer-yum (1825) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 23, 2017
Restrained tart aroma in a golden pour. Similarly laid back tart taste too - but with a surprisingly flavourful fruity body before a crisp clean finish.

A sour mash that's not too sour. Good body and smooth going down. Not as heavy as some other sour mashes either.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a nice head and good lacing. Aroma is tart with citrus and pit of pine. Taste of a tart apple, some tropical fruit and subtle sweetness in the background. Nice bitterness that lingers a bit into the finish. Medium body, tart but quite refreshing for a sour. Nice beer. theOptimator (385) - Sacramento, California, USA - MAY 16, 2017
Aroma is citrus pineapple onion floral hopping. Very Lagunitas. Appearance is . clear golden large bubbled medium white head that lingers fairly well. Taste is lactic tart forward, followed by pineapple onion Lagunitas aroma hopping then a light sweetness and mild hop bittering. Palate is light +, very crisp, tart and refreshing. Overall a nice beer. Nice tartness but still has plenty of hop flavor. Haven’t tried much like this out there, but seems like a simple mix of two beers..... small IPA and a locto sour. Either way, a nice easy beer that I can see becoming more popular. OliverJ1990 (11) - - APR 24, 2017
Lagunitas has really impressed me with most of their IPAs. But the when I poured the Aunt Sally into the glass, I smelled a rancid tartness reminiscent of granny smith apples. I did a double-take, reconsidered, and tried the beer. Sour is the first thing you taste, then a slight sweet sensation. If this were a sour gummy worm cocktail, I could drink it, but an ale, no thank you. gopherfan99 (1996) - Minnesota, USA - APR 23, 2017
