Bottle; pours clear copper with a white head; aroma is tart with pine and citrus fruits; taste is more bitter than tart with citrus and pine with some malt and hints of salt; dry, tart finish with some pine RSRIZZO (1986) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - APR 21, 2017
12oz bottle poured into a Snifter at 41°. Color is a bright gold with just a touch of haze. Carbonation is very good giving a bubbly head. Aroma is a mix of pine and fruit. It has a medium body with a crisp mouth feel. Wow, flavor is unexpected, first it comes on sweet then a big bold tartness jumps out at you. The sweet gives mango, peach and a bit of pineapple, when the tart jumps in you get apple, more peach and citrus zest that leans on lime. After taste is dry as the tart fruits linger. Overall I’m not sure what they were going for here but this is one tasty, complex and interesting brew. mike67 (1198) - , New Jersey, USA - APR 20, 2017
12 oz bottle. Pours golden with tall, long-lasting, foamy white head and lively carbonation. Nose is of tropical fruit, bready malt and earthy hops. Body is medium and very tangy. Taste is very sour, herbal hops, bready malt and lemon zest. Finish is long, sour, bitter. Good brew if you like sour. Oscbert (1306) - Lincoln, California, USA - APR 20, 2017
Strong citrusy hop aroma of orange and grapefruit, typical lagunitas style aroma.
Pours clear amber golden color with small wispy white head
Sour notes in flavor, tart raspberry with lots of citrus hops as well, bready malt.
Light to medium bodied, mouth puckering astringency, very dry, woody finish.
I like this one. A bit over hopped in my opinion. The sourness makes it very interesting. With it being so dry not sure how many I could drink of these though

Blond colour with thin head. Aroma is very hoppy with lots of grapefruit citrus. In the taste it’s similar but the effect is a bit sour and bitter. Interesting.

Sampled at the mile care of maureen, pours a golden orange. Notes of Granny Smith, lactic wheat, Berliner, toast, and other light sour fruit. Pretty refreshing overall. ChrisOfstad (90) - Hamar, NORWAY - MAR 24, 2017

pours almost clear pale gold with a small white head offering some retention and lacing. citrusy fruits, almost juicy watermelons, clean-cut lactic light acidity, bitter tangerine zest, crisp peppery and spicy cereals, cider-like yeast, sea salt. moderate carbonation, light body, dry (never sweet btw) and tart tropical-citrusy finish. drinks itself like a fresh tart and bitter watermelon - solid offering from lagunitas. ganache (5908) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 22, 2017
Bottle. Nose is tart, lightly metallic, light funk, hay/grass, fruity, seeming to manage some actual grape in with the cherry. Pour brilliant, rich clear golden with a soapy-spidery bright white head. Taste is medium-bitter with heavy dry funk, heavy earth; light-medium cherry, dry, mildest caramel overshadowed by thin spiderwebs. Medium-body tart but not terribly sour (part of this is my palate callousing against the acid), but a big funk bomb. Some tropical fruit rind and nice gummy-wiggly tropical fruit accents, less lemon or lactic. Passionfruit, barnyard, tangerine, and mild acid reflux and vomit in the finish. This one’s laid its cards on the table early but the hand’s a winner anyway. Not for introductions, but very nice. [2017.03.22: 3.7]
