Mmm, tasty! The bourbon barrel really smooths this beer out! Has a very nice coffee aroma w/ just a hint of the barrel age. It pours black w/ a thin tan head that leaves good lacing. The taste has a nice coffee bite that slightly mellows w/ the bourbon in the finish. Deliciously drinkable at 8+%! sturmthis (1195) - Bavaria, GERMANY - FEB 21, 2015
On draft. Black with one finger beige head. Coffee and some vanilla on the aroma. Strong coffee and some chocolate on the taste. Pretty good. crossovert (14038) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 14, 2015
Draft. This base beer is awful. But wow they packed a lot of bourbon barrel flavor into it and it has helped it immensely. Vanilla and espresso meld nicely. jeremyh70 (1115) - Missouri, USA - FEB 19, 2014
On tap at Crescent Moon - Omaha Beer Week 2014. Dark brown with off white head. Bourbon, coffee, cream and a little chocolate. Taste has big bourbon with coffee and cream. Some vanilla and cocoa along with some sweetness. Medium bodied and low moderate carbonation. Really good with an actual cappuccino flavor and lots of bourbon and barrel character. kambei70 (1122) - - FEB 18, 2014

On tap at Riverview Chicago. Poured very dark brown with thin tan head. Aroma of choc coffee barrel vanilla smoke. Light carb med bod. Similar taste to aroma with more coffee. Beerman6686 (6611) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 20, 2013
This one poured a medium to dark brown with a beige head. Aroma was of coffee, Bourbon and roasted grain. Flavor was similar to regi capped stout, not a ton of Bourbon, but unfortunately it seems the coffee has fallen off as well. anders37 (27266) - Malmö, SWEDEN - NOV 2, 2013
Draft @ Falling Rock Tap House, Denver, CO. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty woody whiskey and chocolate aroma. Roasted malty strong bourbon, coffee and chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty boozy bourbon and coffee finish with hints of chocolate. krumbum (1109) - truckee, California, USA - OCT 6, 2013
Dark thick beer blocks out light entirely. The beer smells like caramelized sugar and cream. Taste of the chocolate then creamy then turns a little alcoholic coffee bitter at the end. Thick and syrupy delicious.
