A - Poured a dark brown / amber color. 3-finger coffee colored head was produced.
S - Vanilla and Espresso Beans. I’m getting a lot of milk cream as well
T - Certainly a Cappuccino taste. Espresso beans, coffee, cream, vanilla and maybe some other sweetener like whole brown sugar.
M - Solid sweet carbonation, very alcoholic taste witha lot of malt that stays around long after you drink it.
O - A very delicious beer. I could drink this by the case!
Bottle. This brewing company surprised me yet again with another delicious beer. The coffee flavor didn’t really start to pop until the beer warmed up to slightly below room temp. It was actually slightly better being a little warm. andrewlol (63) - san antonio, Texas, USA - SEP 4, 2012
I loved it. Had more of a coffee flavor, I was expecting more of a creamy flavor though but it was still great. A little bitter,I want more. Swans (134) - FRANCE - OCT 14, 2012
Is this really a beer? I’m not sure. The perfect interpretation of a capuccino. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - NOV 22, 2012
Bottle. Pours an almost-black with a moderate off-white head. Nice roasted and coffee notes to the nose of this. Taste is much like a strong black coffee, which I love. Great stout.

Thick tan head. Nearly pitch black. Chocolate coffee and roast malt nose. Medium light body. Chocolate and coffee flavor. Some black malt flavor but not overwhelming. c4p3n (6) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - FEB 9, 2014 does not count
Excellent coffee and chocolate aroma with just a hint of alcohol smell. Sweet but not too sweet chocolate flavor with coffee on the back end. At $4.50 for a 22oz bottle and 9.2% abv, this is probably the best beer for the money I've had. GuruDel (4) - Canyon Lake, California, USA - JAN 1, 2011 does not count
What a coffee bomb! Pours a pitch black with a decent head. Aroma is of pure coffee, like smelling grounds after brewing. As a coffee lover this was fantastic Taste was similar to the nose, great finish of coffee with some bitterness. Will go get some more I liked this one. SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - JAN 24, 2011
2010 vintage. Pours rich dark brown with a thin brown, fizzy head. The aroma is strongly of coffee and faint chocolate. Tastes like coffee, roastiness, chocolate and very faint alcohol. Full-bodied with a smooth texture and mild mouth-carbonation, than when drank very cold tastes like a blended iced cappuccino, Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout finishes smooth and a tiny bit bitter, like a true cappuccino. dwyerpg (6187) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - FEB 3, 2011
Really, for all the claim on the bottle that is super-coffee, I found this have a nice slight coffee flavor that was by now means overpowering or bad. Really pretty surprised by how drinkably beery this was.
