COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This ale contains no actual copper but were pretty literal... It looked coppery, so we lamely called it a copper ale. Lotsa nice caramel malt though... Originally 5.9% alcohol by volume, currently

copper in color barely any head. A sweet honey like aroma with hints of alcohol and hops. Smooth to drink mainly sweet with some warming alcohol notes. Hops were minimal. smooth.

Lagunitas continues to grow as one of my favorite breweries with this beer. As the name suggests... pours a copper color with a foamy white head. Aroma is mainly sweet malts with some hops. Taste lives up to the aroma... with the hops coming through mainly in the finish. Incredibly smooth mouthfeel had me swishing it around my mouth before swallowing... couldnt tell it was 7.7% at all. Another winner from Lagunitas.

12oz bottle poured no head with clear copper color. Aroma off mostly caramel and little hop. Smooth taste, could use more hops.

Says it is a copper ale, which for my tastes is an amber. Pours a strong copper color with thin head. Taste is great, very creamy while swallowing and in finish. Mildly hoppy and almost reminds me of a cream soda or something. Carbonation light. Taste almost too rich to have more than two or so.

12 oz bottle, via Styles. Pours a copper colored body with a few small chunks of sediment floating around. Head was small, beige, and fleeting in duration. Aroma is of sweet toasted malt with a light floral hoppiness. Flavor is fairly unexciting, some general fruitiness with sweet caramel and toasted malts. Very lightly hopped. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with fairly fine bubbled carbonation. Overall, this just didnt trip my trigger, nothing special to warrent seeking out.

Sampled from bottle. Why dontcha blaze up some of that sticky icky icky icky icky icky icky ICKY! - Snoop (the chronic). This ales original name was censored. Apparently some G-man finally listened to some snoop lyrics and figured out that the chronic is an an illegal substance? Anyway - this ale pours clear, deep copper with a creamy off-white head and nice lacing. Quite attractive. Aroma is honey, caramel and over-ripe fruit. Flavor is well-balanced with a hint of sweetness in the finish. Floral hops adorn the middle. A bit of citrus/pine lingers. Medium-full body and smooth. Good, drinkable ale but not that memorable.

Amber, white head, malt aroma, with notes of citrus and pine, light caramel flavor, hoppy finish. Decent

12 oz. bottle courtesy of Pailhead, thanks Kevin. pours a slightly hazy brown-amber with a fast fading head. nice malt aroma. flavor up front is good as well but goes a bit south from there. flavor fades quickly and the hops need to be kicked up a notch.

On draught at Mad Mex, Monroeville. Light aroma that deepens after warming a bit. Mild sweet maltiness with some fruity hops. Bit of caramel, fruity pears, and some pine resin. Clear medium amber with thin lacing off-white head. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Starts mild with light sweet caramel notes. Soon gets busy with nice hop bitterness. Biscuity notes, pine resin, and astringent finish. Some brown sugar sweetness. Nutty dry after. Good bitterness and well balanced with malty sweetness. Nice ale.

Thanks to Zathrus13 for this one. Pours out a ruby color with a small thin head. Aroma is rather plain with some notes of hops. Taste was also slightly plain, not much going on there, some hops and some caramel malt here and there, not overlly impressed.
