This ale contains no actual copper but were pretty literal... It looked coppery, so we lamely called it a copper ale. Lotsa nice caramel malt though... Originally 5.9% alcohol by volume, currently

Bottle. Pours semi-hazy orange/amber, thin light tan head. Aroma, sticky resin hoppy goodness, with a nice fresh doughy malt backbone. Flavor, some metallic overtones, malty and some fruity sweetness, with mild piney hop bite. Very drinkable and refreshing, almost too for 7.7% "Let there be rain."

Pours out clear dark copper color with a thick fluffy head.
Nice lacing.
Aroma is caramel, some bready aromas and some light hops.
Body is kind of thin
Flavor is lightly sweeet, with some caramel flavors finished of with some piney/resinous hops.
Good enough to drink more than one, but I wouldnt go out searching for one.

Bottle, pre-Rita. Pours a thick and inviting orange. Aroma is spikey, with the hops jabbing into your nose like a steak knife. Flavor is citrusy, rounded out by sour hops. Im detecting a bit of malt, but its so well hidden (like the alcohol) that unless youre looking for it, you wont findi it. A fine beer. Id have another.
