COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This ale contains no actual copper but were pretty literal... It looked coppery, so we lamely called it a copper ale. Lotsa nice caramel malt though... Originally 5.9% alcohol by volume, currently

Orange Auburn amber with a medium sized white head. Rich caramel malt aroma. Aroma carrys over to the flavor, totally dominated by caramel malt, some bracing bitterness from hops, particularly noticable in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium and fairly smooth, with a sticky build up.

Very flavorful. Upon the first pour, I was surprised what a large head developed on this one. I delicately pour all of my beers, but this one developed about a two inch head! It quickly dissapated to about a 1/4 for the remainder of the drinking experience. This is a nice, rich malty beer with sugary aromas. Wonderful red-copper color. So easy to drink and I was shocked to discover its relatively high alcohol content. It certainly didnt taste like it. A solid beer, Ill be drinking this one again.

imagine taking the spare change out of the bottom of your pocket and sucking on it with a mouthful of killians to boot. though, not in a boot, just to boot. still, despite its metallic namesake, a very tasty brew.

Had on tap. Surprised to see its 7.7% ABV. Certainly doesnt taste like it. Poured a light amber with white head. Smell dominated by malt but nice hoppiness. Taste is malty sweet and has a lingering pit-fruitiness. A very good brew, no tastes are in-your-face. Nice session beer. Its hard to get some love in the hop-dominated world, but this is worth a try.

Poured dark amber with a thick tan head. Good head retention. Smell was like peach yogurt essentially. Very fruity and malty. The taste was so sweet on tap it kind of hit you in the face. Slightly similar to Arrogant Bastard but did not compare. A bit alcoholic as it went down. Not bad.

Medium brown color - clear with a medium tan head that dissipated quickly. Aroma of caramel, malt and brown sugar. Chewy body with a heavy flavor of malts, caramel, and a hint of coffee. Finish is sweet and dry.

Heavy crystal malts, caramel, wheatl, and sugar. Taste is a bit too sweet, but still decent. Ever though malt is supposed to dominate this beer, it makes it much too one sided.

Deep copper colour with thick rocky tan head. Robust carmel malt nose. Sweet carmel malt taste with lingering malt finish.

A hazy orange beer with a disappearing orange head. The aroma is very hoppy - so much that grass mixes in. The flavor is sweet and more grassy than hoppy, combined with notes of caramel, and alcohol. The alcohol gives You the warmth while drinking this.
