COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We took some fresh Sanguinello Blood oranges, juiced ’em, concentrated that juice (without heat) and threw it into a wheatier version of our New Dogtown Pale Ale. The end result? A refreshingly hopped pale-ish ale with a huge citrus burst!

Bottle from Sprout's: Poured a sparkling gold topped with a short lived foam head. Aroma is mild with some bright hops that suggest orange peel and tangerine fruit while a base of sweet oats and other malts come through. The drink is bitter with acidic hops that suggest lime zest and lime leaf with a notice of rye or other strong flavored bread like malts. Really glad to have only bought a single of this and not be stuck with an entire sixer since it is strong in flavor.

Pour from a 12oz bottle. Golden brew with white head, loads of pulpy stuff suspended in the brew. I assume its orange pulp - or maybe I grabbed a dirty glass. Its fascinating since it neither rises nor falls but just stays suspended evenly from top to bottom in the glass... Aroma is resin with a nice citrus punch, Taste is light bready malt up front with quickly emerging citrus tarts blending into a decent but not mind blowing hoppy finish. The hops and citrus tartness work together well. Really enjoyable and comes across as relatively light, agile and not boozey despite the abv

From the 12. fl. oz. can with a very difficult to read stamp on the neck. This might go back to December 2016. With that in mind, it pours a light amber-yellow with a modest, lingering white head. The aroma tends to lean t with a small citrus note. The body is medium and smooth. The taste tends to have a cardboard like maltiness with a vague citrus zing in the midst. But I think this is an older bottle and hard to review unbiased.

Very fruity, but balanced. Sweet juiciness comes through. Thin fading head. Flavor is very tropical but I thought it was from hops not juice. Nice flavors. Nose is very tropical also. Very little bitterness.

Almost clear, dark yellow beer with a three finger high, white, fluffy head.

Nose: Lemon, blood orange, citrus, malt, grapefruit and passion fruit.

Taste: Fresh squeezed orange juice, lemon, caramel malt, blood orange and grapefruit.

Mouth: Medium body and carbonation. A nice bitter mouthfeel. Smooth and juicy.

This is a Limited Release from Lagunitas but I shure want it to come back! This is really good and refreshing. The blood orange juice and the wheat version of New Dogtown Pale Ale works great together!

Pours gold with a coarse white head, sticky lace. Fresh hop aroma, citrus, mild funk. Mouthfeel is a tad slick, refreshing though. Outstanding flavor, lovely medley of hops and oranges, not too acidic though, pleasant sweetness prevails. Slight zest, lightly toasted cereal. Super drinkable for this abv.

Bottle, 7.7% ABV. Clear gold with a white head. Aroma of sweet hay, lots of oranges. It’s more - indeed too - obvious that it’s actual oranges when you take a swig. Moderately sweet, medium bodied, bitterness on the low side of medium. The interplay between the hops and blood oranges is really very nice, particularly at the finish. It’s just so careless with the alcohol - costs it .2 or .3 for me.

Pours a light gold with a thick white head and plenty of lacing. Aroma is of citrus and malt. taste is a sweet citrus malty watery bitterness. Overall all an easy beer to drink but not one of they’re best.

32 oz crowler- Pours rusty golden with a medium white head with decent retention. Aroma is fruity, light malt, citrus, berries. The taste is fruity, berries, mango, tropical fruits, citrus, medium light bitterness. Easy drinking, was hoping for more of a hop punch, simple thirst quencher if it weren’t for the high abv, which i didn’t even realize, doesn’t taste like almost 8%.
