pours unclear pale yellow with a frothy white head very danky and bright grassiness, spicy melons, green citrus - limes, tropicalness - fruits and coconut, pale lean spicy and crackery maltiness, tequila, tea - astringency, pepper. light carbonation, light body - fluffy and not really watery; balanced grassy-spicy-citrusy finish. solid session ipa. GranvilleTim (1855) - Granville, Illinois, USA - FEB 17, 2015
Pale golden yellow pour with a white head. Aroma is piney hops. Taste is piney hops, a nice malt base. Pine finish and lasting aftertaste. OK lacing. Tasty session beer. Brandon1989 (661) - Lewisville, Texas, USA - FEB 17, 2015
This beer pours a slight hazy yellow golden color with a thick soapy white head that left some good lacing around the glass. The aroma pine, hops, citrus, lemon peel, and mild breadiness. The taste is very subdued compared to the aroma, as if it were their normal ipa watered down. As a session ipa and for the style I am sure that is what they are going for with this beer. I pick up the hop resin, pine, citrus, and breadiness. The mouthfeel is light and somewhat dry and the drinkability is high. bubbleflubber (2227) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - FEB 16, 2015
This pours a deep golden into the glass, with a nice stocky head that reduces to a medium cap that leaves webbed lacing. The nose is of citrus rinds and pine needles. Nice hopping throughout, well-bittered, with grapefruit, pine resin and lemon zest, finishing with tropical citrus rind/peel and fresh spruce-pine. The mouthfeel is medium-light and the palate is active; that is, without overactive carbonation... well-integrated and not over-the-top. Zesty, fresh, citric and bitter (via low ABV), this makes for a great session IPA. Really nice take on the newer style. Does what it says it will do... provide a nice IPA session brew. Bottle at Guitars, Umeå. Slightly hazy yellow color, good cloudy white head. Lime, orange and grapefruit in the nose. Light-bodied. Gooseberry, pale maltyness. Light citrus notes. Sessionable but quite simple. Vignale (3833) - Malmö, SWEDEN - FEB 13, 2015
Flaska från Craftbeer/Galatea. Lagunitas bidrag till Sessiontrenden. Gyllengul, lätt disig, högt vitt skum. Mycket fin fruktig humledoft med aprikoser, mandariner, ananas, mango mm. Stora smaker men lätt kropp i bra balans. Lätt karamellig och kexig rund mjuk kropp, fin fruktig humle, rena smaker, måttlig/lätt beska, kort eftersmak. En riktigt trevlig session-IPA. UPDATED: FEB 12, 2015 Light yellow with big white head; Piney grapefruit hop aroma. Very light body with big emphasis on pine/grapefruit hop aroma and flavors. This is a great "daytime" ale, yes its light in body, light in malt feel, even though its a hoppy beer its not particularly bitter or heavy in hop flavor. I would drink this again. pottygok (548) - Ohio, USA - FEB 8, 2015
Aroma: Pine and resin hop aromas with hints of toasted malts in the background.
Appearance: Clear gold with a rich white head.
Taste: Medium bitterness with a light sweetness. Very well balanced.
Palate: Light body, slick texture, soft carbonation, long clean finish.
Overall: A nice, quaffable brew. Meant to be light, and it is, but still has the flavors of a heartier beer. Good attempt.
