Sometimes you want a beer, then you realize how much crap you need to do before you call it a day. This is it. Nicely dosed with Big, Round Hop Flavors and a Toasty Malt Foundation to satisfy your every need. But it still lets you stay in the game to do what needs to be done. Yup.

JBPortland (1543) - Hampton Roads, Virginia, USA - JAN 9, 2015
12oz bottle pours clear gold yellow with a finger of head. Nose is bright citrus, pear, orange, pineapple, grassy with a touch of round cracker malt. Taste is similar to nose with some nice grassy pine and soft resin, light (but not thin) body, medium bitterness, and clean light malt. Finish is balanced bitteness, lemon, grassy orange, pear, citrus. Excellent.

Fratto (2845) - Arlington, Texas, USA - DEC 31, 2014
Bottle from Total Wine. Light pour with a white head. Aroma is sappy and citrus with bread. Taste is a little bitter, bready, and citrus. Nice finish.

commonmac (1246) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 31, 2014
Bottle purchased at Elevated. Consumed with commonshawn in a Belgian snifter glass. Very light golden color with a noticeable amount of head. Lemony, citrus aroma. Quite vibrant. Grassy notes come to the forefront at the initial taste. Bitter characteristics pick up as the sip moves forward finishing light and bitter. The flavor is bright but the bitterness kind of overwhelms. Sessionable with the hoppy Lagunitas stamp. Probably made for a hot summer day not a winter afternoon in Mpls. Not one of my favorites.

commonshawn (1259) - Minnesota, USA - DEC 31, 2014
Bottle with commonmac. Light gold with frothy white head that doesn’t last long. Pine hop and a bit of citrus nose. Bitter spice, sharp, and crisp. Heavy citrus peel hop bitterness throughout. Tastes like an ipa version of this style, which is not surprising. Good beer, but I like the night version better.

Pours a slightly cloudy golden straw color with white head. Fruity hops on the nose. Slightly sour.

shadey (2135) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 29, 2014
12oz bottle. Golden yellow pour with soapy white head. Aroma is lemony and fresh. Delicious citrus and bright hops come together to accomplish the mission of a daytime drinker. Nice.

maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - DEC 24, 2014
Bottle cheers to Jackson. Very citric and zesty stuff. Fairly sweet but it always works with this style. Not out of the ordinary but well made. Good drop

FatPhil (16102) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 24, 2014
355ml bottle (Black Door, Helsini)
Initially a very tropical citrussy aroma, later some swimming pool minerals. Extremely citrussy in the taste, with the carbonation it’s almost lemonadey. Fairly watery palate, but full enough flavoured to be quite refreshing. Finish citrussy and littlde buttery. A simple golden ale, better than the blander examples from England, but still lacking something.
