, Umeå. Yellowish golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, mild resin, sap and some pleasant citrus to it. Flavour is fruity, floral, nectary and has some wooden and earthy notes as well. A bit catpissy as it warms up. Tasty and refreshing session beer.
Bottle: Golden, nearly banana-shade of yellow with decent clarity. Foamy white head settles to a thin layer leaving some lacing behind. Aroma is kind of muted. Mild bouquet of citrus rind, grapefruit, pineapple, & other vague, albeit zesty fruit notes. More akin to the bitter "peel" side of things, rather than juicy & fleshy. Herbal, floral, & mild piney back-end hop notes. Crispy & wet with each sip, seems just a touch watered down. Even for a "session" IPA. Floral hops, hints of white pepper, grassy bitterness, a touch of hop oil. Mid-palate showcases more of the fruity side of the hops; citrus peel, grapefruit pith, tangerine rind. A very, very small bit of cracker malt towards the finish. Fairly solid session IPA choice, but perhaps slightly vapid, even considering the style. I’d choose Founders’ All Day IPA over this every single time.

pours unclear pale yellow with a frothy white head very danky and bright grassiness, spicy melons, green citrus - limes, tropicalness - fruits and coconut, pale lean spicy and crackery maltiness, tequila, tea - astringency, pepper. light carbonation, light body - fluffy and not really watery; balanced grassy-spicy-citrusy finish. solid session ipa. Pale golden yellow pour with a white head. Aroma is piney hops. Taste is piney hops, a nice malt base. Pine finish and lasting aftertaste. OK lacing. Tasty session beer. brandon1989 (712) - Lewisville, Texas, USA - FEB 17, 2015
This beer pours a slight hazy yellow golden color with a thick soapy white head that left some good lacing around the glass. The aroma pine, hops, citrus, lemon peel, and mild breadiness. The taste is very subdued compared to the aroma, as if it were their normal ipa watered down. As a session ipa and for the style I am sure that is what they are going for with this beer. I pick up the hop resin, pine, citrus, and breadiness. The mouthfeel is light and somewhat dry and the drinkability is high. bubbleflubber (2244) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - FEB 16, 2015
This pours a deep golden into the glass, with a nice stocky head that reduces to a medium cap that leaves webbed lacing. The nose is of citrus rinds and pine needles. Nice hopping throughout, well-bittered, with grapefruit, pine resin and lemon zest, finishing with tropical citrus rind/peel and fresh spruce-pine. The mouthfeel is medium-light and the palate is active; that is, without overactive carbonation... well-integrated and not over-the-top. Zesty, fresh, citric and bitter (via low ABV), this makes for a great session IPA. Really nice take on the newer style. Does what it says it will do... provide a nice IPA session brew. Light yellow colored. Light pine aroma. Light malt and grapefruit taste. Light bodied. Well-lit!
