Sometimes you want a beer, then you realize how much crap you need to do before you call it a day. This is it. Nicely dosed with Big, Round Hop Flavors and a Toasty Malt Foundation to satisfy your every need. But it still lets you stay in the game to do what needs to be done. Yup.

Privately tasty, piney hoppiness, ale suggestive, crisp, and satisfying. Thirst quenching. A very low-key "day-time". When you still need to do a whole lot of things perfectly before your day ends, this is the perfect beer. And I can hardly wait for those hot summer weekends when it will be a fantastic companion for sweaty hard work. Pop one of these when you’re done, sit back, and admire your handiwork.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Bright clear golden color with the lazy white head you expect from Lagunitas. Aroma is grapefruit, pineapple, pine (the tree, not the apple from said tree), toast. Flavor has bready malt, light toast, medium hoppiness, citrusy and piney. Lighter feel, nicely crisp. Enjoyable SIPA.

12 ounce bottle. Smell like a hoppy beer. A nice refreshing beer that is medium straw in color. Taste hoppy and crisp. Medium carbonation. A little astringent and fizzy on the tongue. Average India pale ale.

Aroma is a little malty. Taste is sweet citrus with a touch of bitter hops. Overall just a little too sweet for me.

355ml Bottle: Pours a clear pale straw with white head that persists. Lacing. Aroma of heavy citrus, pine and some tropical fruits. I get some spiciness coming through on taste as well as citrus and pine from the hops. Not much in the way of bitterness, but the hop aroma and flavour is great. Medium to light bodied, medium carbonation. Overall I enjoy this beer, however, it could still use a little bit more bitterness.

Bottle - pours a straw color with a coarse bubbly white head, fairly unstable. Dank hop aroma, some pine, florals and grain. Crisp and fresh on the tongue, some spiciness on the tongue, well balanced sweet breadiness with the bitterness... Notes of strawberry towards the end. Excellent version of the style!

DraftDodger (1452) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 22, 2016
Copenhagen 22/10 2016. 35,5 cl (12 oz) bottle from Meny. Dog looking kinda sad on the label together with the happy go lucky message "Life is uncertain, don’t sip." Pours slightly hazy pale yellow with white head. Settles as patchy thin layer of foam. Aroma is intense with sweet exotic fruit like peach, passion fruit and mango. Light overtones of sour grape fruit. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Flavor has light sweetness and more distinct bitter sourness. A bit thin and watery but for a beer that they advertise that you can drink in the work time and "stay in the game" that might be a necessity.
