Bottle. Clear yellow gold with a huge fluffy head and a lot of lacing. Aroma is sweet oniony hops and citrus zest. The taste adds grapefruit, lemon, and peach. Very refreshing and light. A top notch session ipa! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone JaBier (8396) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - JUL 21, 2014
Bottle sample at the Lagunitas tasting at Blacklick Wine & Spirits on 7/10/14. Clear gold pour with a thick white head. Aroma of piney and oniony hops with some malt. Cracker malt flavor with pine and onion before a grapefruit finish. Changed (463) - Ithaca, New York, USA - JUL 19, 2014
Bottle. Straight from. Hoppy aroma. Flavor is just a toned-down Lagunitas IPA. Refreshing, obviously. Sessionable. What more do you say? TET (3275) - Kaarina, FINLAND - JUL 19, 2014
A light yellow beer with a quite big and white head. The aroma is tropical fruity, mangos, some citrusfruits, and balanced fructose. Aroma is nice and fruiful. Taste has citrusfruits, low sweetness, some tropical fruits, hint of grain, the bitterness is not very strong but balanced. Almost medium bodied, smooth carbonation. Good beer where the main point is in the aromatic hoppyness. Easy beer to enjoy. jsmerig (1718) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 18, 2014
Pours a hazy pale yellow with a white foamy head. Aroma of pungent grapefruit, lemon and mown grass. Taste is mild malt followed by a stiff bitterness finishing with a biscuit quality. Dry and crisp.

Draft at brewery. Nose is slightly lemon with a bit of grass. Taste is initially thin but a bit of hop flavor prevents it from drying out too much. Just quenching. jhamp9 (2007) - Corinth, Texas, USA - JUL 16, 2014
Clear pale gold with a nice white that leaves a lot lacing. Aroma is pine, grapefruit, and grassy hops. Taste is pine, grass, and faint citrus zest. Nice bitterness. Light and hoppy. Very sessionable. NickButters (5) - Stevens Point, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 12, 2014 does not count
I would call this one of the best sessionable beers available. Most taste like 50/50 water and beer, but Daytime stays true to the Lagunitas legacy with an abundance of hoppy bitter goodness steelhead3686 (269) - Jacksonville, North Carolina, USA - JUL 9, 2014
Hops, hops, and more hops when you put your nose to it, and it’s pungent. Pours a clear gold with a large white head. You can taste the musk on this one. It’s a medium bitter. It’s a light body with a sticky texture and a slight bitter finish. tiong (7739) - Espoo, FINLAND - JUL 8, 2014

Pours pale yellow with a small head. Aroma of crisp malts, tropical fruits, pine, citrus and grass. Taste is crisp, hoppy and malty with loads of pine, buttery sweetness, citrus and grass. Finish is crisp, bitter and hoppy with some pine and resinous sweetness. Quite refreshing and piney hop bomb.
