Aroma is fine, some citrus hop notes. No malt. The mouthfeel is clean with an aggressive hop finish. The flavor is dominated by hops and the beer has a pleasant hops citrus flavor but a harsh hops finish. I would expect a Pale ale to be more balanced. This should not taste like an IPA. bigben873 (249) - Virginia, USA - MAR 28, 2014
A typical American Pale Ale; not too bitter or hoppy. Floral aroma, smooth finish, clear dark blond. - March Madness 2014 PoopThoughts (25) - - JAN 2, 2014
This is a fine example of a American pale ale. Hoppy, but light and not overpowering. It would be good in the summer months when you need to battle the oppressive heat.

A modern American pale ale: hoppy with a high ABV. More substantial than I expected, almost an amber or copper ale. Bitter flavor with citrus and some subtle notes of grass, hay, and cereal malt. dfearnley (2070) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 8, 2013

Bottle-love this beer. Has a slight hoppiness to it but not overwhelming. Would drink this any time.

Sample from botlle at the Cardinal stand at Nærbø, Ølfestivalen 2013. Clear golden body with a white rim. Sprucy, light resiny, honeyish nose. Dry, light spicy, peppery, fruity flavors. Medium body. Dry tongue. BEENJAMIN (290) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 19, 2013
Fresh 12oz Bottle at home - Dogtown Pale has everything that I’m looking for in a American Pale Ale. It has dry citrus hops upfront, sweet malts and piney bittering hops in the back. Dogtown is bright and crisp, well balance and full of hop goodness! Classic American Pale Ale. HoppyBudgie (833) - SOLA, NORWAY - OCT 9, 2013
Golden with thin head. Aroma of citrus, pine and orange. Taste of Spice, citrus, hoppy, malt. Blanaced but not my favorite
