Draft. Pours amber with an off white head. Noticeably darker than an average IPA. Fruity hops, light piney dankness, mild sweet malts, and light toasted grainy notes. Pretty good. Travlr (26425) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - SEP 7, 2014
Draft. Clear amber color. Aroma of earthy flowers. Taste is bitter, bready straw. Nice. Leighton (22816) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 14, 2013
On tap at the Pony Bar UES - NYC. Pours clear yellow-gold with a sturdy, creamy white foam head. Nose holds a good bit of cat urine, sugary pale malts, faint lemon. Medium sweet flavor with dried out pale malts, pee, wet grass, some tangy citrus, lemon and a bit of white wood. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Citric tang to finish, light to medium sweet with a bit more pee hoppiness, pineapple and dry pine. Very nice. Quite clean, balanced and refreshing. A blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, an interesting mix of citrus hops, resinous qualities, catnip, light funk. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with good citrus hops, a tad light but good. On tap at Ginger Man NYC, Sept 21, 2012. ben4321 (6830) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - SEP 28, 2012

Location: Draft at The Hop, 9/28/12
Aroma: This beer had a fresh/hoppy nose of citrus/grapefruit/mango
Appearance: It poured a clear golden-orange pour, with a white head, and medium-plus lace
Flavor: This one has a sweet tropical fruit flavor with a medium-plus hop bitterness
Palate: This beer drinks pretty cleanly, with a soft carbonation, a smooth feel, and a lightly dry finish
Overall, I was impressed by this beer. It was a really nice citrusy/hoppy IPA from a brewery that does IPAs pretty darn well.
On tap at The Pony. Sprightly, glowing white head on a dark gold pour. A lovely, sweet, floral and pine aroma. It tastes dry and hoppy, with plenty of grapefruit and pith flavor, but it is not harsh. The hops are a touch oily and herbal - could it be Amarillo? Fusion 9 seems like a very good West Coast IPA from what I can tell. JoeMcPhee (10131) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 30, 2012
Tap at Pony Bar. Straw-coloured pale white head. The nose has a very bright tropical nose. A little bit of mango and some sticky resin as well. Clean bitterness and a peppery flavour on the back. There's a bit of bright citrus and some light resiny/grassiness. Lovely.

Draft @ Pony with James last night. Fresh smell, fresh taste - piney hops with grapefruit notes. Nothing I haven’t tasted before and nothing groundbreaking, but just a very fresh, solid IPA that I’d gladly get again. jredmond (8839) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 7, 2012
Draft at pony with Brendan. Pours an almost clear amber body with nice white lacing. Aroma is fresh citrus and line. Mouthfek is medium with notes of spice, citrus, pine and a touch of tropical fruits. Great IPA.
