Had on tap at Aces & Ales in Las Vegas. A nice hop aroma, good bite right away. Pretty standard California IPA material, so pretty good. Just not what I was feeling that night surprisingly. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 22, 2013
Tap @ Angels Trumpet Phoenix. Pours a fairly clear, golden appearance with a white head. Tropical fruity, pineapple, mango, spicy hoppy, sweet aroma. Soft mouthfeel. A bit resiny, spicy, mango, citrusy hoppy flavor. Refreshing and nice to drink. GuilTTy (733) - Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA - JUL 3, 2011
On tap at the Cooperage Wine and Whiskey Bar in Philly during Philadelphia’s Beer Week. Hazy deep amber pour with a tall rocky tan head. Aroma of pine trees and fresh cut grass. Citrusy hops up front in the flavor backed up with some toffee, milk chocolate and a touch of dark summer fruits. Creamy body and a surprisingly long and sweet finish for an IPA. This was the feature brew at the Lagunitas event and worth the billing. Lagunitasfan (1323) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 10, 2011
On tap at the brewery. Yay!!! Nose light high sugar sweet and high hops. Gold amber with sticky white head and lace. Taste sweet and sharp hops. Slight bite but mostly high sweet. Bit of lemon and pine. Great summer ipa but not special otherwise.

On tap at Petrol Station. Pours a cloudy orange copper with a small frothy off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is a floral hop and coriander. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet hop with citrus and a nice light lingering bitter finish. Easy to drink a good IPA from Lagunitas. carboloader (674) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAY 18, 2011
On tap at Little Woodrows in Rice village a week ago or so. Pours transparent orange with white head. Wow. Much hop resin of the West coast variety. Very good. It’s like their IPA with bitterness, but maybe even more pine resin with less grapefruit. Yum! I like their grapefruit emphasis, so this one is a mixed bag for me, but it’s very decent. thetmaxx (917) - West Sacramento, California, USA - JUL 6, 2011
Poured from the growler I purchased @ lagunitas. I was a little bummed the growlers are just Mason jars. Anyways, pours slightly cloudy, this beer is not pasteurized, its simply filtered. Aroma is mostly Carmel malts. Needs more hops. Flavor is also sweet malty. Not quite right for a ipa. I had a hard time figuring this one out at the brewery also. Overall it might not be a good ipa, but it is a good beer! CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAY 26, 2011
On tap at Frisco Grille: Pours a clear bright golden with a well-lacing froth of white head. Has a fresh piny and citrus hoppy nose with a touch of sweet pale malts. Starts with pretty good fullness and light malty sweetness with a crisp bittering hop note and grapefruity flavor before a clean bittersweet finish. A pretty solid IPA, but nothing mindblowing. jjuf1853 (1302) - Land O Lakes, Florida, USA - JUN 18, 2011
Draft at Brass Tap. Pours a clear copper color with foamy white head. Solid sheet of lacing along the side of the glass. Grapefruit and piney hops in the aroma. Decent flavor and good bitterness in the finish.
