More amber than brown, with a nice sweet caramel-grain malt base and plenty of citric-berry-floral Mosaic goodness. Moderate bitterness and a piney fade. Tasty ballpark brew, but I’m guessing this cup isn’t really Couch Trippin’, what with it apparently having been retired two years ago. Either that or that beer takes stand a loooong time to kill a keg. Whatever. It’s a good beer, regardless which Fusion I’m drinking. Strykzone (7658) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - APR 18, 2015
Sampled at Elijah Ps during their pre opening event. Not all that dark, more amber. Fruity hops and earth. More hops that malts. Earth and smoothness. Citrus is gentle but nice. Very unique and interesting. I would not guess porter as a style. I like it. drowland (9057) - Georgia, USA - FEB 15, 2015
12/23/14. On tap at Bier Stube, Moline with Mrs. Owl and my dad. Amber pour with a small khaki head. Okay aroma, a little dank, citrus, caramel. Great flavor, very dank, plenty of tropical fruit, enough caramel and doughy malts to balance enohgh without taking over. Tasty. tykechandler (343) - Kentucky, USA - FEB 1, 2015

On tap at Proletariat. Pours a clear ruby tinged caramel brown with a thin beige head. Roast and cocoa, chocolate, dirty hops. Medium bodied, nice carbonation, chocolate and earthy hops. Long but slow earthy hops bitterness. Tasty. Travlr (26071) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - DEC 20, 2014
Draft. Clear deep amber color, cream colored head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of nutty brown bread, some fruit. Taste is fruity caramel, light toast. Very tasty. Itzjerm (3114) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - DEC 1, 2014
There just is some weird underarm flavor in lagunita I just don't like. This isn't a bad beer but just something isn't my thing. Good head. Nearly good except for the arm pit

On tap at Thirsty Monk Biltmore Park. Pretty good for the style. Pours a murky brown with a khaki head. Interesting mix of hops, but works. Super charged Mosaic-" first born child of Simcoe"- is tempered by crispness and white wine notes of Nelson Sauvin. Starts with the pine/citrus/ stonefruit/ earthy/ leafy notes of Mosaic and finishes nice and crisp. Drinks somewhat malty and very smooth. Medium mouthfeel. Not overly carbonated. One of the more interesting brown ales I have had.

Draft at Sonka Irish Pub. Pours a clear deep amber with a finger of frothy khaki head that leaves lace that Never settles. Notes of tea, leafy and citrusy hops, brown sugar, toasted and chocolate malts. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel. Nice sweet (malty) and hoppy balance.
