They should have named this beer Lagunitas Sucks!!!!!!! Because it does. I was out with a friend and he scoffed at the color. Piss yellow. His first impression of the flavor was liquid lemon jello and artificial hops and I agree. Lagunitas does it again with there mass marketing, mass producing of massive amounts of swill drinking masses. Now that I am done ranting I will say this. It really does suck!

Poured up on tap at Fate with a crystal clear pale gold body supporting a bright white head of foam. The aroma offers up citrusy lime, grapefruit and then some mango slices on dry crackers. The taste is thin crisp and refreshing, by design I’m guessing. It has snappy malt sweetened grapefruit and mango that is deep in flavor yet light too. Yummy stuff.

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2013 Draft at Good Dog. Straw pour with a small foamy white head. Fuller flavors than expected for such a light pour. Grapefruit. Tree gum. Lemon pips. Thistle. Green banana. Sugar cane. Mango. Pineapple. Celery. Juicy but dry. Very nice.

Pours light amber with a white head. Citrus, grapefruit, pine, some sweet malt to balance. Easy drinker. Low ABV makes it a great session beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap @ The BeerMongers... Poured clear amber orange with a thick forming, fizzy head. Super quaffable with loads of flavor. Danky, pine-like resinous hops with a mild mouthfeel and malt sweetness to balance. Strong citrus with some honeydew melon notes along with a smooth malted grain tone to help the finish. Really digging this one.

Super cold pint at Sur Taco. Poured a pale gold body with a thick layer of silky foam bright white head. Aroma of whole lemons, citrus rind, grains and bread. Medium body with stronger tight bubbly carbonation and a creamy finish. Flavor of citrus rind, touch if yellow grapefruits, toast and grain husks. Solid solid beer.

On tap at The Nova, very light straw color, nice white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit and nice resin. Taste is nice dank/resinous hops, the Sucks really comes through. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at pour house, pours clearish golden with medium soapy white head, not too lasting. Aromas and taste of dank hops, lemons, pine, grapefruit skins, toasty malt and melon. Medium body, nice and dry. This is what a hoppy pale should taste like. Reminds me of a light elder. Excellent

The aroma is tropical fruit, caramel. The appearance is yellow/orange, white head. The flavor is caramel, light fruit. The finish is pine, citrus. Medium in body. Nicely done.

Draught. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a moderate white head. Nose is very hoppy with a lot of floral elements to it. Taste, though, is only very slightly bitter; nowhere near as strong as the nose would suggest. Very smooth and easy to drink. I like it.
