Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours brassy gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is sort of floral grapefruit. Med minus body. Flavor is lightly perfumey grapefruit with a little light malt. It’s very pleasant in a light way, and certainly has a lot of hoppy bitter. It almost gives a hop burn. Should be excellent session ale if it ever gets into wide distribution. brokensail (16696) - Dublin, California, USA - APR 3, 2013
Clear golden orange pour with a big white head. Really outstanding hop aromas. Huge grapefruit, peach, pineapple, and mango. Notes of pine, some floral notes, and citrus zest. Unfortunately, nowhere near as potent on the tongue. Still, a nice floral and zesty citrus quality. Light tropical fruit, cracker, bread, and mild pine bitterness. A bit grassy on the finish. baraciisch (3468) - California, USA - MAR 31, 2013
Clear yellow in color... Aroma is light, citrus hops... Flavor is bitter herbal and piney hops up front, grassy.... Thin in the middle, kind of watery... Not much on the palate... Definitely a session ipa thome50 (1295) - Morro Bay via Orange County, California, USA - MAR 28, 2013
Draft at the Libertine in Morro Bay. Was told this is a hoppy session beer but can’t find anything about it. Pours a clear light golden with nice head. Aroma is slightly dank and citrus peal. Very nice. Taste is slight dank hops, hay, more orange than anything else. Still, at 3.6% it doesn’t hold up well to finish. Very watery but if this was canned and available on the cheap, AWESOME BEER!
