Clear golden orange pour with a big white head. Really outstanding hop aromas. Huge grapefruit, peach, pineapple, and mango. Notes of pine, some floral notes, and citrus zest. Unfortunately, nowhere near as potent on the tongue. Still, a nice floral and zesty citrus quality. Light tropical fruit, cracker, bread, and mild pine bitterness. A bit grassy on the finish. bhensonb (15621) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 5, 2013
Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours brassy gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is sort of floral grapefruit. Med minus body. Flavor is lightly perfumey grapefruit with a little light malt. It’s very pleasant in a light way, and certainly has a lot of hoppy bitter. It almost gives a hop burn. Should be excellent session ale if it ever gets into wide distribution. Draft. Poured a hazy copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus and spruce hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.
