Poured from a growler. Dark yellow pour pure white head and thin lacing that lingered throughout the glass.
Aroma skunky dank piny with a little alcohol smell.
Taste is amazing, probably simcoe, the heady taste of the hops blend well between the pine and skunky cat piss flavor. The amount of hops cut down on the alcohol flavor but the malt still taste very nice with a little sweet linger. yhe hops are perfectly over the top for a punch to the tongue and palate but don’t wreck your palate. Delicious! DougHnut70 (72) - Livermore, California, USA - FEB 19, 2014
On tap @ the Alehouse in a 10oz pour right after a Pliny the Younger during SF Beer Week. Clear, dark gold, with no real head. Smells like a pine tree with tropical fruit like pineapple, mango and some grapefruit. Tastes amazing - super fruity with peaches, pineapple, citrus, and caramel. Lagunitas says this is a "uber hoppy imperial oat wine"...what? This is one of the best DIPAs (this is really a TIPA) that I have ever tasted. Lagunitas uses oats is Sucks and this is Sucks deluxe. Is Lagunitas on fire or what?! Try this if you ever see it. Does not taste like a 10+%. Remember I compared it to a Pliny the Younger. Hmmm... GSH1976 (307) - Delaware, USA - DEC 21, 2013
Picked up two 32 oz growlers of this at State Line for $6 each. If I didn’t know who made this beer I would guess Lagunitas because it has their "signature" taste and that is not a bad thing.
Pours a hazy orange with about one finger of white head and decent lacing. The aroma is excellent with lots of pine and citrus (orange) and a hint of caramel. Taste is bitter but not overpowering and there is just enough caramel malt sweetness to keep it almost perfectly balanced. Body is medium to heavy and oily. For a 10% abv beer the alcohol is hidden well. Excellent beer and I am glad I was able to try this. MadRobin (2988) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - JAN 23, 2014
Served in Maryland under the name Lagunitas Trippa Sabotage 3xIPA, this appears to be the same beer as Lagunitas Fusion 18, Ãœber-hoppy Imperial OatWine. On tap at McGarvey’s Saloon & Oyster Bar in Annapolis, MD. Clear, dark amber with an off-white head and and excellent lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, pineapple, biscuit malt and apricot. Taste of pink grapefruit, orange, pineapple, tropical fruit, biscuit malt and pine. Full/medium body and medium carbonation with a smooth mouthfeel. A remarkably good beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone gregwilsonstl (2505) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 1, 2014
Dark copper. Cloudy. Lacing. Citrus. Quite hoppy. Lasting bitterness. Couldn’t have too many of these.

On draft at Victoria , clear gold with thin white head. Very hop forward with strong citrus (grapefruit and orange) and pine forest on nose and palate... Well balanced and delicious ! Beergeek23322 (2602) - Chester, Virginia, USA - DEC 18, 2013
12/16/2013. On tap at Eastside in Olympia, WA. Amber color with a frothy white head. Floral aromas with pine, citrus, hops and caramel. Smooth, bitter, fruity with lots of hops. Awesome beer. cstuartj (1020) - Washington, USA - DEC 19, 2013
On tap. Pours a dual orange yellow thin head laces well. The nose is out of this world, huge floral notes, pine straw, wet hops, grapefruit. Taste is near perfectly balanced, no over alcohol or sugar taste here, all hop flowers and pine. Love it! mackRIS (37) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - DEC 20, 2013

Draught @ Brouwer’s Café:   Fireweed honey in color, bright, moderate frothy off-white head, nice lacing.   Big fresh citrusy nose, very juicy.   Very juicy on the tongue, citrusy, bitter without being biting, very clean.   This one is great!   Smooth, clean, flavorful, good nose and color, and well balanced.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Strong citrus peel and pith on the finish, slightly candied.   Hard to also believe this one is 10%.   Great stuff!
