Great ruby red beer with a sizable amount of head even in a tulip glass. Nose is full of hops. Citrus and pine aroma. Taste is again hop forward and dry with moderate carbonation and medium amount of body. A solid red on par w/ hop head red.
Pours a deep amber red, suspended particulate, resilient ivory head,. Tons of grassy florals on the nose, pine, barleywine, booze, big and inviting. Full on the tongue, silky with spice. Caramel, resin, toffee, florals..A big tasty beer. OminouSC2 (647) - Mora, SWEDEN - JUL 8, 2016
Burgundy color. Fruity aroma with grass hop. Taste caramel malt, sweet with a good portion of hops, more on the fruity side. Bitter hops during the finish. BeerdedDave (1662) - Beckley, USA - APR 11, 2016

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget. pours tiny hazy amber with a small offwhite head that slowly dissipates small sticky trace on the glass. Smell is malty, woody and tiny fruity with sweet dark bread, caramel, toffee, grapefruit juice, dried apricots, moist grass, pine needles, resinous wood, orange peal, lemon zest and hints of alcohol. Taste is slightly sweet, bitter, malty, slightly fruity, slightly grassy and slightly woody. Mouthfeel is soft, viscous, oily, astringent, tiny boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet, oily bitter and cardboardy. Past its prime I’m afraid... AnokaBrewer (201) - Anoka, Minnesota, USA - FEB 17, 2016
22 ounce bottle. Copper color. Sweet taste at first from the malt, then the flavor of grain, followed by a hop bitterness that does not longer.

I didn't take any extra notes when I tried this beer for the first time but I'm gonna try it again and update my comments.

Pours clear auburn with a thick and frothy, if not long-lasting, pale buff head. Woody hops and fresh malt battle it for the top spot in the aroma, while hints of caramel and clove gladly sit on the sidelines. Flavor steps boldly onto the palate, presenting woody, hoppy, malt and caramel tones, while hints of clove and hay tag along. Body is on the firm side, as is the lasting fizz. So glad they resurrected this one! mrjez (607) - Osaka, JAPAN - OCT 21, 2015
From bomber. Pours a very nice deep red copper, big head of beige foam. Great nose with red and dark fruit, earthy malt, caramel, mixed with citrus. It tastes excellent, a certain sweetness balanced with lively bitter hop, more pine coming through. Smooth drinking, a little warmth, and a lingering bitterness that overtakes the sweet flavours. Spot on. Hopmaestro (1625) - Örebro, SWEDEN - AUG 25, 2015
Aroma here is dried fruits touching the sweeter areas and I catch some bitterness from citrus and grass. The taste is the same, and I’m pretty happy that it isn’t that sweet that I thought. There are some orange peels in here also. The body is a bit thin, and that makes it more drinkable and I’m actually quite pleased with it. halfonit (1356) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 23, 2015
Pours an amber color with a off white, almost caramel colored head. Aroma is on the sweeter side. Sweeter malts, prunes, fig, some booze, yeast and spices. Nice, heavier palate, definitely silky. Flavors are of malts, prune, dry hops, bread, nuts, and tea. Leaves a sweeter dry hopped finish. Good stuff, just a bit dry for my liking.
