3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours ruby with a slightly offwhite head that lasts the whole pour. Smells sweet, cedary and spicey. First feel in the mouth is very thick with coffee, chocolate and toffee. The sweet notes are quickly balanced out by a smooth, spicey bitterness that is followed by a warming from the alcohol. A very balanced big brown, the generous hops keep it balanced and easily drinkable at 7.85%.
22oz. bottle @ Whole Foods. Dark brown appearance. HUGE head that slowly dissipates. Rich, roasty aroma. Taste of roast, dark chocolate, dark fruits, nuts. A bit bitter on the tongue. Alcohol present on the back end, with a slight burn on the throat. Had it with some amazing English cheddar...which was heaven! Coffee flavor present but not overwhelming. Overall a well balanced Stout. Highly recommended...(though was hoping to share with with a friend who never showed, as 22 ounces of 10% abv is way too much for me! i nearly spewed later ;p). sdhunter (10) - - JUL 14, 2017
Safeway. Single bottle. Looks good. Strong stout. Bitter after taste. Not sure if I will buy again.

TET (3061) - Kaarina, FINLAND - JUL 8, 2017
A black beer, a head is big and brown. Aroma has coffee and roastiness, liquirice, saltyness, some dried fruitness. Taste has richness of malts, salt liquirice, roastiness, some salt and fruitness. Quite sweet but still balanced, some bitterness in the end. Full bodied, smooth and enjoyable to drink. Balanced and high-quality beer. rami_pl (3613) - Warszawa, POLAND - JUN 18, 2017

Mocno zbozowy, reszta taka tradycyjna, czeko-kawa, spoko cialo, disc wytrawny, ryli niezly, ale zarazem bez szalu.

Drank during Hevelka bottle sharing. Very average imperial stout it’s really hard to say anything specific about it DonGregorio (439) - POLAND - JUN 4, 2017
Bottle shared at tasting. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of coffee, caramel and roasted malts. Taste is medium sweet and bitter with notes of coffee, caramel, chocolate, molasses, fruits. Burnt coffee finish. Medium+ body, soft to average carbonation. OK. colui72 (1053) - HONG KONG - MAY 9, 2017
Black with a medium tan head and some spotty lacing. Aroma is dark malts, chocolate, licorice and vanilla. Taste gets roasted malts, vanilla, chocolate milk, some coffee, licorice, some hops. Very smooth to the palate, oily feel, full body, soft carbonation, long finish. Very good ale, tasty and drinkable, not too boozy. Really good stuff... and it comes from a Heineken owned brewery! Amazing! klm1 (1577) - Bled/SF, - APR 9, 2017
22. Oz. Bottle for 4.99$ available in every market & liquid store is SF Bay area.
Pours black opaque, slighlty clear with foamy mahagony head. Aroma: roasted grain, dark malts, with notes of milk chocolate, hint of coffee, licorice, toffee, ddark bruit esters, floral, spicy hop notes. Finish is dry, slightly dry bitter (from roasted). Body is medium to full (plato 23°!??)., soft texture, moderate carbonation. Alcohol is very well hidden. Drinkable & decent. oobawa (1484) - Tennessee, USA - MAR 16, 2017
Fairly decent imperial stout, nothing great but hits all the right notes, albeit some not quite as heavily as you’d like. Pour isn’t all that great, the beer coming out dark brown but lighter than you’d expect, and the head bubbles up momentarily but leaves a thin beige doughnut in its wake and no lace. Taste is big and aggressive, but also in need of some finesse; dark chocolate dominates the front, while a cherry-fig tartness slides in just underneath. Gains a bit of anise in the middle, then sweetens with milk chocolate and raisin (and possibly some banana) on the back end before a lengthy, boozy bitter fade closes things out. Again, not a bad beer, just not as roasty or deep as a great imperial stout should be, and the texture’s thin for the style.
