1 pint, 6 ounce bottle- poured out an opaque brown with a thin, khaki head that quickly dissipated. Alcohol aroma dominated any more subtle components. Taste was toasted malts and that was about it. Palate was pleasant, moderately mouth filling, almost more of a porter than stout. Overall impression was almost a commodity stout, a bar brand. Not bad, but not particularly memorable, either.

Mocno zbozowy, reszta taka tradycyjna, czeko-kawa, spoko cialo, disc wytrawny, ryli niezly, ale zarazem bez szalu. hajsman (342) - Gdañsk, POLAND - JUN 9, 2017
Drank during Hevelka bottle sharing. Very average imperial stout it’s really hard to say anything specific about it DonGregorio (373) - POLAND - JUN 4, 2017
Bottle shared at tasting. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of coffee, caramel and roasted malts. Taste is medium sweet and bitter with notes of coffee, caramel, chocolate, molasses, fruits. Burnt coffee finish. Medium+ body, soft to average carbonation. OK. colui72 (985) - HONG KONG - MAY 9, 2017
Black with a medium tan head and some spotty lacing. Aroma is dark malts, chocolate, licorice and vanilla. Taste gets roasted malts, vanilla, chocolate milk, some coffee, licorice, some hops. Very smooth to the palate, oily feel, full body, soft carbonation, long finish. Very good ale, tasty and drinkable, not too boozy. Really good stuff... and it comes from a Heineken owned brewery! Amazing! klm1 (1501) - Bled/SF, - APR 9, 2017
22. Oz. Bottle for 4.99$ available in every market & liquid store is SF Bay area.
Pours black opaque, slighlty clear with foamy mahagony head. Aroma: roasted grain, dark malts, with notes of milk chocolate, hint of coffee, licorice, toffee, ddark bruit esters, floral, spicy hop notes. Finish is dry, slightly dry bitter (from roasted). Body is medium to full (plato 23°!??)., soft texture, moderate carbonation. Alcohol is very well hidden. Drinkable & decent.

Fairly decent imperial stout, nothing great but hits all the right notes, albeit some not quite as heavily as you’d like. Pour isn’t all that great, the beer coming out dark brown but lighter than you’d expect, and the head bubbles up momentarily but leaves a thin beige doughnut in its wake and no lace. Taste is big and aggressive, but also in need of some finesse; dark chocolate dominates the front, while a cherry-fig tartness slides in just underneath. Gains a bit of anise in the middle, then sweetens with milk chocolate and raisin (and possibly some banana) on the back end before a lengthy, boozy bitter fade closes things out. Again, not a bad beer, just not as roasty or deep as a great imperial stout should be, and the texture’s thin for the style. OminouSC2 (648) - Mora, SWEDEN - MAR 12, 2017
Pitch black color, medium sized brown head. Aromas of roasted malt, chocolate, soy, licorice, sugar, slight hop and alcohol. Taste of chocolate, roasted malt, soy, brown sugar, honey and hop with a slight bitter and alcoholic finish. hershiser2 (3048) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - MAR 4, 2017
$5.99 bomber from Market Street Wine Shop, Uptown. Pours thick and black with a large brown head. Aroma of smoked peat, coffee, chocolate, molasses, licorice. Flavor is thick chocolate, coffee, light smoked peat, dark fruit undertones, a hint of spice. Quite good, especially for the price. Homer321 (5008) - Melboring, Florida, USA - FEB 26, 2017
Draft at Charleston location. Jet black with small brown head. Nose is light coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is lightly bitter. A chewy but not sweet mouthfeel. Light cocoa notes. Some alcohol warming. Nice. JTParis (23) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 21, 2017
@Bishops Arms, Växjö, Sweden. Reviews had me anticipating something less, but luckily it was a full-on Lagunitas experience. Not the most astonishing imperial stout out there but, boy, it satisfies.
