COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet youre on.

Pours a nice red amber with a one finger head. Good retention and lacing. Aroma is mild citrus and floral hops. Taste is bitter floral hops with little of the citrus in the nose. Not too oily which helps mouthfeel. Good typical IPA, but nothing spectacular.

UPDATED: OCT 3, 2007 Beatuiful tangerine-red color and clear. Minimal head. Aroma of straw-colored, dry grass. Flour taste I dont really dig but with nice bitterness. [tasted next to a Tyranena Stickin It To The Man] Not really a good comparison. The Lagunitas is really nice but pretty one-dimensional next to the Tyranena. I like them both, guess it depends on what youre looking for.

Clear amber color, off-white head, rather sweet with a punch of floral, bittering hops at the end. Pretty good IPA - but, it doesnt even come close to the good ones.

Hoppy flowery scent that you can about taste but no lingering bitter flavors. An easy to find favorite and a real pleasure on tap.

On tap. A very tasty beer with some industrial flavours...highly hopped, earthy and piney with sweet brown sugar notes and a great dry finish thats not too bitter. A bit uneven but well-made.

Bottle... Poured an amber tone with big white head which dissipated into some nice lacing. Malty and hoppy aroma, flavors of hops, barley malt, citrus fruits and sweet caramel like taste. Mild, crisp finish.

UPDATED: AUG 22, 2008 Deep clear copper body, topped by a creamy and dense off-white head. Looks inviting. Aroma: grapefruit/citrus, leafy. Flavor: some citrus presence, a little balancing sweetness, earthy bitterness and maybe something like pepper. Very traditional IPA.

Draft at an Irish pub in Berkeley, CA. Pours orangish with a light white head. The aroma is hoppy citrus. The taste is big very big on the hops for a regular IPA. Nice overall feel great IPA.
