COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you’re on.

From January 2011. I bought a six pack and brought it home before I looked at the bottles...loaded with floaties. Checking on the Julian date, I see it was bottled June 10. Oh well. It has a nice honey gold colour with a minimal head of foam and very little lacing. I'm keeping the floaties in the bottle... Big lemon citrus notes with some biscuit notes in the smell. Ditto for the taste only here it doesn't show much balance and the hop flavour seems harsh to me. It's rather thin bodied, lowish with the carbonation, and isn't all that drinkable. As is, it doesn't impress me but if I come across fresher samples, I'll give it another go and see if a change in my review is needed.

Pours clear golden yellow with two fingers thick white head. Malty sweet and slightly citrus aroma, balanced bittersweet taste, nice mouthfeel. Simple and effective IPA.

Bottle 355ml. Nice light amber colour. Candy smell with some herbal aroma as well and malts. Sweet taste, bitternes almost zero, medium body. Hoops, herbs, still a bit of candy taste. Overal, interesting beer.

Nice pale looking IPA. Flowery and hoppy, clean pint of beer and slips down nicely :)

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2018 Une bière sèche, amère avec des saveurs d'agrumes, de pamplemousse et légèrement maltée. Une bonne IPA.

Tometclo (349) - Paris, FRANCE - JAN 3, 2018
