COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet youre on.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. A: Pours a beautiful and clear copper color. Theres two fingers worth of off-white colored head, with okay retention and a soft texture. This head leaves behind nice lacing on the glass. S: This starts off pretty malty. Once it warms up slightly, it develops a character of piny, grapefruity hops. The Lagunitas house character is pretty unmistakable - and as always, enjoyable. Their other beers show it off better, though. T: The hop profile here is pretty mild: theres only a slight flavor of grapefruit and pine. What there is, especially post-swallow, is a decent amount of bitterness. Normally, Im not a fan of this approach to IPAs, but theres just enough sweetness to balance out the finish. Since there isnt much malt or hop flavor here, its mainly reliant on the house character of Lagunitas to provide the flavor - and while it doesnt do a great job, it does just enough to make it solidly tasty. M: While its a touch sweet, it has that clean, crisp feel I enjoy in IPAs. The dryness does a good job of counteracting its slightly full body. Carbonation isnt much of a factor either way. O: Solid, but not my favorite Lagunitas offering. Still, its great drinkability cant be overlooked. It reeks of an old-school IPA with its prominent sweetness and generic hop bitterness - however, its good enough where Id have no trouble putting it down again.

W aromacie mocna żywica, trochę cytrusw. W smaku podobnie, mocno żywiczanie, ale także cytrusy. Zdecydowanie wytrawne, fajnie zbalansowane, pijalne, dobre!.

Had at a friends house in a bottle. Has a citrus/hoppy scent, which is very slight. Thin feel, light body, not too bitter. A very easy beer that is true to its style.

Yabon !
