This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet youre on.

355ml brown bottle from some supermarket. Reasonably bold modern hops on a pale biscuit malt base. The usual thing. You either like this sorts of beers or you dont. Theyre not my favourite style. Not enough malt character, too dead, too bland, and too much hop character, too zingy and sharp. And no yeast character - thats been filtered out. Doesnt feel like a 6% beer, and certainly not a 6% ale. The malt base could be a lager it so lacks character. Thankfully theres not too many hops so this is at least drinkable, but its otherwise quite dull.

Bottled and tap. Apparently not rated before. The aroma has citrus, pine, toffee. Clear, orange coloured beer with a medium sized off-white head. The taste is moderate bitter with citrus, pine and toffee malt. Could use more hop aroma.

Drank with Pimm (and the rest, later) in Samson 11-3-2017 (this was one very very awesome night). This beer was mediocre, quite a neutral IPA.

This was the first IPA I ever tried. I tended to shy away from them, because I was told IPAs would destroy my palate for other beers. It kinda did, but with beers like this, Im really not complaining.

On tap poured into a tall glass with a golden hue. One of my favorite mass produced IPAs. Well balanced hops and bitterness.

Pours a rusty amber with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, grapefruit and mango. Medium mouth feel, pithy mango, sweet, grapefruit, dry bitter finish. Lovely.
