From bottle, blind tasting at Papsoes - beer no 19. Pours golden yellow, clear, with a lacing white head. Strong grapefruit aroma with a sweet maltbase. Peachy and slight herbal malty too. Flavour is dry fruity, with a mild grainy note. Ends bitter and dry. Slight woody finish. Ungstrup (38238) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 6, 2007
Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty - and really nothing else - a bit boring. The flavor is sweet with notes of peaches, as well as a light spicy hoppyness. It gains in complexity when it warms up, but never impresses me. joergen (28949) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 12, 2007

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of MaltOMeal. Clear, golden with an off-white head. Fresh, hoppy aroma of pine needles and peaches. Medium-bodied and extremely dry with a rather downplayed malt base. The bitterness is very distinct but fresh, fruity and floral. 021107 Koelschtrinker (21171) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 11, 2011

Hazy golden color, thin head, nice cobweb-like lace. There is a great hop aroma, very fruity, grapefruit and bitter oranges over all. Very good toffee flavor, less sweet than my liking, maybe just a bit drier than this beer deserves, at the end; powerful hopping, giving both a fruity and resiny touch, but never overwhelming. Powerful final, but if anything, less than expected, and shorter. After one year, it seems that some corners have softened, the flavors are well mixed together, and everything is more balanced.

Hazy golden color. Wonderful hoppy aroma, a bit resiny and greatly fruity: grapefruit, sweet oranges, peach... Even a touch of cookies. The body is not too strong, almost dry; there is a quite strong toffee flavor, very strong bitterness with quite strong resins and bitter oranges, mango. Very good, but unbalanced between aroma and flavor.
Bottle. Nice head with excellent duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich with grapefruit, other fruits, flowers and hops. harrisoni (19159) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - APR 25, 2008
Bottle at Chris_o’s The Wolf tasting. Thanks to Mes and Hogtownharry. Gold with thin off white head. Really nice PNW hop. Grapefruit is lovely. Some choc lime. That’s my kinda beer. Just lacking a little in the malts.
