Very fresh... pulled off the bottling line in late September. A nice sample of the style, wish I had another!

Lagunitas, Seattle. Clear, dark brown with a small foam. Quite fruity and heavy first impression, with a modest lager touch by the finish. Fairly still, rising chocolate bitterness, resin hops dominate finish. Not what I was expecting, but I like this well enough. An India Bock, I guess? Nice.

"tasted more like a double...and had the -ator suffix to boot. i heard they had to discontinue this as it used Ahhhhhhnolds likeness on the label...Terminator style. A pretty good malty beer, whatever the case may be. Dont think its been available for a while."

Found this on draft in Calistoga. Not sure if it was mislabeled or if there happend to be an old keg around. A big american pale ale, dark copper, great lacing, but a bitter and harsh finish.

the only ting this brew lacked was a refined mouthfeel otherwise wowo!!!!!!!. Pours a lovely dark brown color. Wtery looking with a nice head that slowly dies off. I love this brewery. Nose is of chocolate, mulled spices, cinanamon, and chocolate chocolate chocolate with a good dose of califronia style hops. Flavors are much the same only dominated by the chocolate an dthe hops. The only way I can knock this brew is to say that it is slightly watery and could have used a bit more malt to make it a bit thicker. G-rat

Aged for about a year: Deep red, slightly cloudy. Head is abundant and thick as could be. It's not dissappearing at all. Any head that you can write in is impressive. Chocolate and nuts in the aroma. Dark chocolate is the first flavor I pick up. Slightly vinous as it warms, also picking up a bread/cookie flavor. Slight acidic finish. Good, good stuff.

At last, a bock that does slam you upsode the head with swwetnes or alcohol. A moderate amount of malt with a good crispness.

I don't know what this beer is supposed to be. Is it an ale or a bock? Seems to call itself both. Reddish brown with large bubbly head, schizophrenic flavour, I can taste sweet lemon tea, coffee and brown sugar. I get a kick out of its slight hop zing on the finish. Could do with a little more body, the flavour just doesn't seem to hang around long enough.

Well hopped and clean, floral/piney/spicy with hints of berries and rye. an oily, bitter finish but with a substantial body of rich maltiness up until that point. This is a bock for all the west coast hop heads!
