22 oz bottle poured into pint glass. Label pays homage to Sierra Nevada, Rouge, and Anchor Steam.
a: dark amber hue, 1/4" off white head, reduces to a light lacing cap. Lacing also rings the glass.
s: the first thing through my mind was, "This beer has Chinook Hops." Big pine, slight grapefruit.
t: nice caramalized malt backbone, hint of chocolate malt. Piney and grapefruit from hops slightly overpower on the back end.
m&d: medium body, light carbonation, slightly sticky mouth. ABV is hidden well.

UPDATED: JUN 6, 2017 Bottle poured into an English pint glass. Pours a caramel color with a huge frothy head that leaves some nice lacing and lots of visible carbonation. Aroma is caramel malts, pine, and grass. Initial taste is very balanced between the malt and hops. Aftertaste has more grassy notes. Full body and just enough carbonation. I love a good red ale and this is certainly one. Only time you can sense the ABV is the warming feeling afterwards. BelgianBeerGal (4037) - Panama City, Florida, USA - JUN 6, 2017
Fresh bottle from somewhere local, most likely Beach Liquor. Pretty bold aroma and flavor of dark, sweet malt and medium bitterness from citrus hops and a hint of pine. Pretty nice and the almost 9 ABV is well hidden. Block (2673) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - MAY 29, 2017
Nice hops in the aroma and flavor. Well balanced. Malty backbone. Alcohol is masked. erickok (6034) - Leuven, BELGIUM - MAY 26, 2017
Red amber body and stable head. Nice balanced aroma with cara malts and lots of pine hops. Super nice taste, smooth yet bitter, drinkable yet complex. Great great stuff! (Bottle from and at Caroline’s, Berkeley)

Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts, caramel, doughy, hops are resiny, some citrus, grapefruit. Lingering, warming bitterness. Nice.
