22 oz bomber. Beautiful reddish gold body with a small white head. Aroma is hoppy with a fruity sweetness. Flavor was hoppier than I expected, balanced by subtle sweet bread and caramel notes. Light carbonation and quite nice to drink.
Good night cap beer. Strong in abv and flavor. Haven’t come across this on tap....bet it would open it up.

Big, spicy, hoppy for a strong ale. Nice mouth feel. Good malt backdrop. Has a slightly peepery note. Overall - an assertive ale . BlackBeerPG (890) - Darien, Illinois, USA - AUG 21, 2017
Taste: Smoked malts, dark fruits, plums, nutty notes with hops that balance it out. Warming alcohol at end. Same with nose. Reddish copper brown color, semi clear, tan head with sticky lace. Medium body. Remind me of part barley with part imperial red. nickel (1236) - UKRAINE - AUG 18, 2017
Aroma: caramel, grape, citrus and pine.
Taste: sweet malt and caramel; Thick body. Bitter aftertaste with malty bitterness with pleasant notes of grass and pine.
Well balanced and warming.

Clear dark amber pour with large off white head. Aroma of malts, hops, caramel, pine and faint fruits. Taste of roasted malts, caramel, hops, faint fruits and pine needles. Full bodied, medium carbonation, hoppy finish. MiP (15972) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - AUG 4, 2017
Draught, 8.8% at KØ17. Cardamon and fruit aroma. Clear brown colour. Good creamy off-white head. The flavour has a grassy hoppiness, creamy and sweetish. A bit earthy and dirty but tastes all right. Good warming alcohol in the finish. dfinney23 (3424) - Houston, Texas, USA - AUG 1, 2017
Clear amber pour. Love the hop/malt balance. Sweet caramel and bitter, resinous pine. Dacrza (1034) - Great Meadows, New Jersey, USA - JUL 30, 2017
DATE: July 31, 2017... OCCASION: toasting a Will’s last game/watching the Iron Pigs with Jeff/visiting Bob Sunday... GLASSWARE: Maudite snifter... dark brown amber body that builds creamy, bubbly head with arcs of lacing with strings of effervescence... the single-finger head sits staunchly atop... robust pine and caramel malts impugn the taste buds... berry, plum, fruity apple, subtle spiciness akin to rye, and low-key phenol make for a boozy, musty earthiness that is attractively thick nonetheless... sips a creaminess that warms like bourbon and provides a smokiness like scotch... at 8.8% ABV, the body is mellow, medium-bodied, and worth a slow sip... flirts with a barley wine’s profile, without the intense heat, but has enough hops to give the beer strength at the teeth... another quality product from Lagunitas, one that I willingly paid $2.10 for... beer-yum (1890) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 16, 2017
Restrained aroma in an amber pour. Big hop forward balance to start with big sweat malt body to match. Laid back bitter finish leaves one wanting another. One of the best RIPAs I’ve had - and has to be a benchmark of the style.
