Bottled, from Systembolaget. Lightly hazy amber, small head. Rich mango aroma. Sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Intensely hoppy with caramel and bread underneath. Concentrated flavours, strong but not aggressive bitterness. Nice! Leighton (21083) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2013
Bottle at ChrisO Holiday Tasting, London - thanks to Henrik! Pours clear gold with a fine, white foam head. Lots of caramel and juicy pine on the nose. Medium to big sweet flavor, big bready malts, caramel, ripe orange, pine. Medium to full in body with average carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish with toasty caramel, further pine, toasty grass, some berries, ripe citrus. Very tasty, very drinkable. Another good one from the Petaluma boys. fiulijn (20411) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 6, 2014
It pours a cloudy light amber color with thick creamy head. Immediately there is a nice aroma of leafy hops; also some mellow toffee. Soft mouthfeel, round; it has a very mellow flavor, malty base but not thick; still a decent level of bitterness, although the qualities are fading.

22 oz. bottle, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma of crusty bread, yeast and sweet malts. Flavour of sweet bready malt, caramel, candied sugar, mild hop bitterness and some Belgian style yeast. Solid, though lacking depth / complexity. Nowhere near as good as the original Lucky 13. brokensail (16432) - Dublin, California, USA - JUL 5, 2011
A: The beer pours amber in color with a slightly off-white head.
S: A malt driven beer with lots of caramel and toffee. There’s a nice hoppiness, too with some citrus and floral notes. A bit more malt in the form of bread. There’s an almost candy sweetness and a bit of fruit.
T: Lots of toffee, brown sugar, and caramel malt character, which is nice. More sweetness from the candy/sugar, and some red fruits (grapes and berries?). Still some hop notes with mild citrus, and a mild bitterness.
M: The body is medium with a medium carbonation.
O: Lagunitas makes some fine ales, and this was one of them.
