UPDATED: MAY 17, 2009 Clear amber. Chewy, toasty crystal malt aroma. Chewy, sticky taste with only a hint of citrusy hops. Hrm. The worst qualities of this brewery all in one glass. chrisv10 (18234) - DENMARK - MAY 31, 2010
Sample. Amber/orange with off-white head. Flavour is malt, fruit and lots of hops. TBone (18106) - Pori, FINLAND - MAR 29, 2009
Clear amber-copper color, small white head. Strong aroma of pineapple and hops. Quite sweet and malty flavor with lots of pineapple and resiny notes. Some citrus in the finish too. Not really powerful for IIPA. And seems that I am not a fan of pineapple and hop combination -to me this looks a bit overrated here. yngwie (17186) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 31, 2007
Bottle, 22oz. (RBNAG 07) An orange-golden, slightly hazy beer, poured with an off-white head. Sweetish nose with all the joys of American hops dominating. The same goes for the flavor, lots of pine, resin, citrus and fruityness, as well as a lot of sweetness, but far from overpowering the hops. Full body, and so hoppy it almost feels a bit astringent in the mouth. A lovely beer, but maybe a bit too hoppy, meaning that it is more a hop juice than a beer. Sweet caramelly biscuity malts in the aroma, and lots of fruity hops too. Smooth slick palate, but crisp carbonation cuts through that well. In the mouth it’s full of sugars, tons of caramel, and loads of fleshy fruit flavours too. Some alcohol wafts over too. Too much sugar, and it fails to cover the alcohol. However, despite those negatives, there is a hedonistic aspect, the sticky juicy friuts just tempt you in. One only for the end of the evening, I’d think.
Sampled at CBC 2013. Clear orange color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma is moderately malty, heavy hoppyness, pine, spruce and resin. Taste malts, hops, pine, spruce, resin, moderate to hevy bitter. Moderate to heavy bitter finish as well. Dedollewaitor (16359) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 16, 2007
UPDATED: JUL 10, 2009 Orange amber with a good head. Malty caramel & fine hop aroma. Flowery & piney. Very fresh & crisp. Fruity & elegant.
Rerate July 09: Very sweet malty profile. Caramel and bread. Ok hops as well but way too sweet malty. MiP (15962) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 9, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 16, 2017 Bottle, 7.5%. Nice, sweet and caramelly hop aroma. Clear copper colour, small white head. The flavour is quite sweet, caramelly. Grassy from the hops with a good, cleansing bitterness. The finish has a little teaish hoppiness along with a good alcohol note. Quite flavourful but still well-balanced. 8 4 8 4 19

Bottle, 8.2%. Good grapefruity hop aroma. Clear copper colour. Small stable white head. The flavour starts off sweetish with a good caramelly hop note. Mild hop bite. Teaish finish. 8 4 8 4 18
Resin and grapefruit aroma (and malt). Gold tending towards reddish amber (top to bottom under halogen), maybe a ruby hint towards the bottom. Medium feel, malt to start, moving to hops, to grapefruit, to hops. Grapefruit noticeable at the finish. Swish and it’s chewable. Swish and an apricot component appears. And it’s 78 ibu. Nicely astringent when all is done. Pine in the burp. Really, really, great. Scopey (15500) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 12, 2014
Cask gravity at GBBF 2014. It pours orange with a small white head. The nose is orange chewits, candy, boozy, apricot, peachy, dried mango and five alive fruit juice. The taste is bitter, orange, apricot, chewits, peppery, grapefruit, sticky, booze, leather, some astringency, resin with a warming, citrussy finish. Medium+ body, low carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Rich, fruity and boozy. Pretty punchy. Would have been better on keg though...
