COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt that the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh hops and malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth. This is Lagunitas IPA pumped up by about 30%!

This one should bring hopheads halfway to heaven. Good citrus aroma serves as a precursor to the bite in store. On the one hand, there doesnt seem to be much balance. On the other, when the hops taste this good, who needs balance? Appearance is penalized for the large amount of sediment.

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2011 Re-rate 6/5/11: Bottle at a tasting. Thanks Dagan. Clear deep golden-amber color with a small white head. Aroma of piney and resinous hops and some alcohol. Bitter flavor of resunous hops with some sweetish caramel and malt and a bit of alcohol. Medium-full-bodied. Decent feels a bit too heavy. 7/3/7/3/13=3.3

Cask gravity at GBBF 2014. It pours orange with a small white head. The nose is orange chewits, candy, boozy, apricot, peachy, dried mango and five alive fruit juice. The taste is bitter, orange, apricot, chewits, peppery, grapefruit, sticky, booze, leather, some astringency, resin with a warming, citrussy finish. Medium+ body, low carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Rich, fruity and boozy. Pretty punchy. Would have been better on keg though...

Light hazy gold with restrained hops aroma, very pleasant. Good solid sweet malts with hops comming well in final, but not in your face. Alcohol very present, but overall pleasant. (Sept. 2004)
