BOD 345/13. Pours a clear amber with a massive head and lacing that retains well. The nose is a blend of sweet citrus (orange and mango) coupled with notes of grapefruit and pine over a sweet caramel background. Almost full bodied with a rich creamy texture. The carbonation level is normal with a touch of effervescence on the finish. The complex, yet balanced, flavor profile is outstanding. It begins with a tart burst of citrus hop flavor like the nose, flows to a mild sweet citric bitterness which recedes into a caramel sweetness. The finish is smooth with a burst of sweetness and lingering light tart bitterness. A complex brewer’s masterpiece of balance, flavor and bitterness.
Nice hoppy IPA. Much more malty caramel and less citrus than many other IPAs, and can taste the 8% ABV.

UPDATED: NOV 3, 2017 Rotted unripe orange & rubbing alcohol. Apricot.
The fruit's failure to stand out and little-to-no maltiness leaves not much to stand in the way of the taste of alcohol.
As this is my first Lagunitas brew, and 8.2% and 72 ibu's is right in my wheelhouse, I truly wanted to like this one, but found nothing nice to say.
I reckon it'll get you drunk. nogva (85) - NORWAY - OCT 8, 2017
Pours a deep amber with a modest head that leaves only a thin lacing. Aroma is fruity with lots of citrus (mainly orange), pine and grass. Medium body, slick feel, soft/avg. carbonation. Taste starts off dry with lots of hop resin, and rounds off with zesty citrus and some caramel. Long and bitter finish, but it's still nicely balanced with the alcohol really well hidden. amber, hazy, white foam, resin, grass, medium sweetness, very bitter, full body, sticky, average carbonation, bitter, mmmeinike (304) - Odense, DENMARK - SEP 16, 2017
Drunk 1 year after tap.
Golden almost amber with a light white head. Grapefruit, caramel, hoppy and piney aroma. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter (not a lot of bitterness) with notes of grass, caramel and som hopps and with a liqourish finish.

Clear orange color with long lasting white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, mango. Taste is sweetish with bitter notes and long lasting bitterish finish. Well balanced and easy to drink. Very good ipa. pappabear (19) - Granbury, Texas, USA - SEP 9, 2017
UPDATED: SEP 9, 2017 Pours a Golden orange color with light head. Smells of citrus, and hops. Drinks super smooth with a slight bitter/citrus after taste. Can't believe it has an ABV of 8.2 %. Bought 1 in a mix six pack and I'm sad I didn't just buy 6 of these. My new favorite IPA. Stefano (2035) - Thisted, DENMARK - SEP 9, 2017
Orange color beer with an huge frothy beige head. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, and a some floral notes. Flavor is citrus, biting pine and lots of grape fruit.. Medium to heavy palate. jinroh (2282) - ESTONIA - SEP 8, 2017
Pours nice golden, even a bit of amber Quite clear and not very carbonated - nor with its of foam. Aroma is nicely hoppy, some clean sugar feel to it, not stuffy but dry and slightly grassy. Well balanced, feels like a quite light beer to drink although it has some abv packed away. Tastes dry, balanced between sweet medium body and lots of hop bitterness. At the same time hops are not too bitter, not astringent but just about right. Quite nice one, feels as Lagunitas should feel like. santandrea (9) - - SEP 6, 2017 does not count
This beer has a strong hoppy taste with a slight fruit taste, it was slightly bitter. Bought a bottle and enjoyed with hotdog.
