hops hops hops.... awesome aroma, not too bitter, and loaded with hops. Huge mouth feel, and very very drinkable high_on_hops (809) - Burlingame, California, USA - SEP 28, 2011
A very floral and piney scent with a medium off-white head and lots of lacing. The color is a deep orange, and the taste is full-bodied with lots of sweet citrus, grass, and hint of malt, and a long pine and citrus aftertaste. One of my favorite IPAs. DogfishFred (36) - - JUL 22, 2012
Poured from a bottle with a nice head. Hop lovers rally! Great beer, not to be missed. basalygatim (5) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 11, 2013 does not count
Really tasty one of my favorite ipa. If I could afford to drink it everyday I would. Beers storskurk (125) - DENMARK - OCT 12, 2013
God øl. Dejlig moderat karbo. Rund maltet smag efterfulgt af fyldig bitterhed og alkoholsødme. Ikke så tør igen. Rar øl.

Into a small glass....When nothing is new, this is my go to beer. Great aroma and taste. Must be ice cold, when warm it all changes. tekstr1der (481) - New Hampshire, USA - FEB 15, 2015
Copper pour with two fingers of fluffy white head. Great looking. Aromas of pine and grapefruit, with some malty hints of biscuit and bread. Flavors translate from aromas, with a very smooth semi-sweet mouthfeel. Good stuff as always from Lagunitas! Turboninja (710) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUN 17, 2015

, Helsinki, Finland. Medium/strong aroma with sweet peach and caramel. Deep orange color with small white head and lightly hazy liquid. Strong, round taste with peach. Balanced with tasty hoppiness. Narrow taste spectrum and long hoppy, fruity aftertaste. Medium/strong body with medium carbonation. Very high quality DIPA with simple but superb taste.
Holy tropical citrus pinecones. Damn, this is fanfuckingtastic. Iíve had this beer before and it was awesome but this bottle is out of this world. Gigantic pine and citrus on the aroma with a big tropical presence as well. Lots of grapefruit, papaya, mango and pineapple. Taste is full of big sweet tropical fruits and pine needle dry bitterness. Big and hoppy and theres no weird sweet maltiness to make it gross. Just a big in your face ipa. Iím loving this and Iíve had it before but this bottle is just too good for words. Iím crushing it and should probably slow down before it crushes me back. Cheers!!! ronaldtheriot (1918) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - OCT 17, 2015
Lagunitas Maximus has a thick, frothy, bone-colored head, a clear, somewhat bubbly, orange appearance, and splotchy lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of piney (but, not so piney) hop oil, and sweet bread. Taste is the same, and the bitterness is there, but not at all harsh. Mouthfeel is high medium and oily, and Lagunitas Maximus finishes on the dry side. RJT
