2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle.
Very enjoyable but really taste wise- this is a mid level IPA.
I think that this beer is seriously overrated on this site.
The reason - perhaps the 8.2% ABV kick?
That WAS rather nice. if you are only going to have one after work, then make this the one.
Mnie tam szkliwa nie rozpuściło ano dpy nie urwało. Jeszcze Bardziej slodowe niż podstawa, ale pelniejsze, wiadomix. Nie mój styl. NYbeerfan (21) - Binghamton, New York, USA - FEB 8, 2018

22 Fluid ounce poured to wine glass
Sight: Bright yellow, golden, not a lot of head a bit hazy/cloudy
Smell: slight hoppy smell, sweet and fruity
Taste: well balance flavor specially the bitterness/ alcohol, sweetness really comes out
Mouth feel: nice follow thriough, long finish, sticky, bitter aftertaste
Overall: Excellent beer, specially with the price. Definitely something to look forward to.

Pale light head, and amber color. Strong grapefruit like bitter flavor but no alcohol burn.

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2018 Pours a clear golden amber with a thick foamy tan head. Aroma of butterscotch and caramel. Taste is malty with a decent light citrusy caramel note that is offset by ample hops.

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2018 A solid double IPA, especially when factoring in the price point (costs as much as Lagunitas’ regular IPA in my area). cwill (112) - Parkesburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 21, 2018
Golden pour with a thin white head. Aromas of pine, resin, tangerine, apricot and maybe a little mango. Taste is very balanced with fruity notes, hops, piney bitterness and a smooth malty backbone. Medium body with a thick mouth feel and moderate carbonation. Nice to go DIPA. beern (250) - Alabama, USA - DEC 8, 2017
Pours orange, amber, golden with a white head and good retention with a nice aroma of citrus and hops. Tastes of malt and bitter hops with a citrus, lemon finish. It’s mostly dry with some booze. It’s also medium bodied with lively carbonation. Although the malt tastes dry, it’s caramel character balances well with the bitter hops. johancederholm (48) - - DEC 8, 2017

This pours a clear gold with a 1 finger head of foam. Not exactly a big head of foam for a vigorous pour but it has some staying power and there's some nice lacing.
The smell is a nice balance of caramel malt and citrus and piney hops. Nice nose.
The taste is also balanced. Plenty of malt for the malt lovers, plenty of hoppiness from flavours of grapefruit and some pine for the hop lovers, and put them together and you have a finely balanced DIPA. There's also some fruitiness here. Very nice.
It borders on a full mouthfeel...silky smooth, and the alcohol is nicely hidden. It finishes on the sweet side but not overly so as there is a good kick of grapefruit right at the very end. Pretty easy drinking as well.
This is a very well made example of the style and I can recommend it with no qualms.
