From the tap at the Heineken brewery Zoeterwoude. Pours a slight hazy copper orange colour with a medium sized off white head which slowly collapses to a thick layer which lingers for a fair amount of time. Aroma of hops, malt, citrus, orange, caramel, tropical fruits. Taste is medium sweet, medium bitter with a dry and bitter finish. Notes of yeast, citrus, malts, caramel, grass, hay. Texture is sticky to oily, medium to light bodied with moderate carbonation

Cask at GBBF 2015, Olympia, London. A golden/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, tropical fruit aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, tropical fruit, citrus fruit. Nice drinkable IPA.

Zymurgeist2 (2296) - Redwood City, California, USA - MAY 13, 2015
On tap at the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy brushed gold with an off white head that leaves slight lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit and lemon. Taste is moderate high bittering with same tropical fruits and slight bready background. The bittering really takes away from the beer to make it single minded and not too interesting.

joet (2646) - Wilsonville, Oregon, USA - FEB 1, 2014
Extremely pretty late harvest dank and vinous aromas very full bouquet at 48 and further emerging warmer. Stark feel only lightly creamy edges. Medium low effervescence. Really fantastic. Like alpine very fresh

On tap at the brewery, a nice IPA not a great one. Pours orange with nice head and lasting lace. Hoppy nose, balanced malt/hop middle palate, finishing crisp and refreshing. Professionally made, not professionally inspired.

Dogbrick (13145) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a clear orange color with a medium foamy off-white head that dissipates steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, vinous fruit and earthy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

illidurit (2345) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUN 7, 2013
Sample on tap at the brewpub. Pours orange gold with a thin white head. Aroma bursts with Nelson hops: tropical, resinous and a bit catty. Flavor is not quite so potent, coming off relatively watery compared to the scent. At least it’s not super malty.
