COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is not the original Pale Ale as brewed in far away 1993 in the back of the Old House of Richards Building in West Marin hamlet of Forest Knolls right next to little Lagunitas. It is way better. Back then the beer tasted like broccoli and kerosene and the carbonation ate right through and drained your stomach into your gut...

11/20 a bit bland. Mild malty taste, mild bitterness, easy enough to drink, just not that interesting ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Systis. Light malt brown with yellowish head. Caramel, citrus, pine, grassy. Grass, malt. Medium bitter, light, refreshing body that you wouldn’t believe for the ABV. Nice balance too.

Ljust pissgul med tunt vitt skum. Aromen frisk med tallkåda och citrusfrukt. Smaken medelfyllig med fräscha humletoner. Eftersmaken lång med ihållande beska.

So far my personal favourite pale ale. Crisp, smooth, perfectly balanced, orangey, bitterfresh, West Coast-tasting.

One of my favorite pale ales, nice hoppy aroma with a bit of citrus could drink this all day

Appears a translucent gold with a healthy, clean white head. The aroma is dank hops of the herbal and juicy orange and lemon. The taste provides a sweet cereal grain like Honey Nut Cheerios with a citrus twist. Friendly dry lemony finish.

jamestulloch (4159) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 26, 2016
Bottle from Bridgend Service Station. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Very faint lacing. Aroma of orange and hay. Flavour of tinned orange and bitter hops. Thin to medium body with a sharp, fizzy mouthfeel. Pretty solid, but not as distinctive as other Lagunitas beers I’ve had.

Bawelt (874) - Lyon, FRANCE - SEP 22, 2016
Nez bien équilibré bien que léger. Très porté sur les agrumes. Petit fond vert très agréable, très frais. Bouche très légère, un peu trop. Après l’équilibre est niquel entre un léger maltage, les agrumes, un petit fond vert/résineux.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from One Stop Market. Appearance is clear, gold with nice sparkle, finger-width foamy white head with good retention and sticky sudsy lacing. Aroma is citrus, floral, light pine, over malt base. Taste is as aroma. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with foamy texture, average carbonation and mix of bitter and sweet finish. Overall, solid all around.
