Clear medium amber with a full, large-bubbled, head and swirls of lace. A good looking ale with a pleasing hoppy malt aroma. The taste is a big caramel malt that grows neatly through the palate, only to be overtaken by piney hops at the finish. But it isnít through. As the hops dissipate, the malt returns for a curtain call. A really solid brew, worth seeking out. Recommended.

Bottle, shared with BBGTC. Deep orange body, medium off-white head. Aroma is strong caramel and pine tones, hints of mango, blue cheese and parsley. Nice, and fairly complex. Taste is caramel, pine, peaches, melon and bitter resinous grass tones, particularly in the finish. The latter is a bit too harsh, affecting the drinkability to some extent. Palate is slightly watery but still fresh, carbonation is moderate. OK pale ale, all in all. backdaft (286) - Menasha Red Light District, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 18, 2012
Bottle. Clear dark golden in color with a medium off-white head. Nice hop aroma and flavor. A bit of caramel malt balances this out nicely. Medium-bodied with a dry finish. Some may confuse this with an IPA. If you like others from Lagunitas, youíll prob like this one too. Palme (4778) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 17, 2012
UPDATED: MAY 11, 2014 0.33l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a blurry golden one with a small slowly fading and light islandy bubbly off-white top. It has quite a fruity aroma this, lotís of american hops, green sticky pine cones, peaches and apricots. Not bad at all. Quite full-bodied with a average carbonation level. Light sweet and woody in the flavor. Actually a bit drymouthing. I get a grassy bitterness with barch and old dry pine cones. Long bitter taste and a dry mouthfeel in the finish and aftertaste - almost like chewing on green not right red currents. 18.10.2012 6-4-6-3-13 (3.2)

On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013. Crystal clear lovely golden I the glass with a small all sidesticking just off-white top. Light hoppy on the nose, some fruits. Nice and inviting. Really hoppy fresh on the flavor. Itís almost lively on the carbonation and the mouthfeel is light oily. Near stingy on the tongue due to the carbonation Iím pair with all the fresh bitter hops. Really good and easy to like. 03.05.2013 6-4-7-4-14
Bottle pour. Part of a Pick 6 Pack for $1.50 / bottle. This pale ale is getting pretty close to an india version on the hop continuum scale - a big plus in my mind.

awesome citrus aroma, lighter color and good amount of carbonation. taste is pretty light to start, mostly citrus. Finish is long and pleasantly bitter. Extremely refreshing beer. Not overpowering, not piney like a lot of IPA are, this APA is awesome. SpringsLicker (3612) - Tennessee, USA - DEC 8, 2012
Clear gold body with a generous, mostly white head.
Resiny, citrus hop aroma.
Nice bitter flavor well balanced.
This is better than many IPAs. AWISLguy (3016) - Wisconsin, USA - DEC 5, 2012
Bottle from ck1 - thanks bro! Pours a pale orange with a bit of a foamy white head. Nice lacing. Aroma has pine and grapefruit, more sweet than citrusy. Taste is of pine, citrus and some sweet maltiness. Somewhat light but with a lot of nice flavors and quite dry. Finishes citrusy. Anecdotally reminds me of their Daytime IPA, or my memory of it. Very nice and well balanced between sweet and hoppy. Easy drinker. ChiGuy68 (594) - Illinois, USA - DEC 1, 2012
