Bottle from pikapp327. Murky orange pour with a big white head. Aroma is bananas, a little citrus, and wheat. Taste is heavy clove, a little alcohol, lots of banana and citrus, and a great finish. Cavie (4651) - Arlington, Texas, USA - OCT 1, 2011
Bottle courtesy Fratto/pikapp327. Pours a very cloudy light orange color with a light layer of foam. Aroma is yeasty, citrus and banana with some clove notes. Nice banana split nose. Flavor is spicy, sweet fruit with citrus and banana. Nice flavor, quite smooth. I like this. jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 1, 2011
UPDATED: DEC 22, 2011 Hazy orange with good, creamy, off-white head / Nose of malt, orange, candied banana, coriander, and clove / Full body, moderately sweet and sticky, with very good hop balance and long, lightly bitter, finish / Big, perfumed, flavors of orange, banana, pineapple, violets, resin, sour malt, clove, and coriander / Not usually a fan of weizens, big or not, but this one is a beauty. Pours a thick, lively cheddar yellow with a head that would make Asanthe Shiamcoe cry out "Shrinkage!" Nose is a spicy and buttery clove with a quick infusion of banana. Flavor is a barrage of boozy and earthy grain-fed clove and banana pulp. Thick on the tongue. Too earthy and blunt for my taste.
UPDATED: MAR 28, 2012 Aromas of bananas and yeast. A bright golden color with a white head. Fruity bread flavors with just a little bit of alcohol on the finish, not much though for this strong of a beer. It is more resinous than similar beers in true Lagunitas fashion

Aroma is Belgian, clove, banana, apricot, citrus, bubblegum. Appearance is hazy apricot with light tan head. Taste is Belgian, clove, banana, citrus, much bitter orange peel, apricot, alcohol, bubblegum. Palate is medium full. Bitterness/orange peel lingers and almost overpowers other flavors. Overall an interesting beer, but a little too much bitterness overpowering other desirable flavors. A little boozy also. Still nice and worth a try. dzimm27 (143) - - SEP 30, 2011
The yeasty character of this makes me think of Schneider Wiesse/Aventinus. Nice and thick, cloudy but not heavy golden liquid. Heavy yeasty body with spicy notes and a whiff of chocolate. Extremely tasty. mjg74 (3090) - La Mesa, California, USA - SEP 30, 2011
Bomber from Bevmo. Pours very hazy. Strong yeasty nose. Good spice presence, with a little sweetness. Full flavores. Sweet and wheaty. Cloves and bubblegum. A hint of alcohol. Slick full mouthfeel. Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - SEP 30, 2011
22oz bottle. Pours a cloudy, slightly darker orange-golden colored body with an inch thick, dense and foamy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is slightly sweeter bubble-gum and wheat bread with a bigger banana. A bit of a yeasty spice with some clove and a light citrus. Flavor is similar. Sweeter and bready wheat malts up front with a big banana. Some bubble-gum, clove spice, citrus, and yeast. A few esters and phenols kick up at the end as this finishes fairly sweet, but it dries nicely with a light, yeasty and somewhat clove spiced bitterness. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a very smooth and creamy, medium body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid beer. Very smooth with a somewhat sweet wheat bread and a very pleasant banana and clove spice. A light citrus keeps it interesting as does the bubble-gum. Enjoyable. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - SEP 29, 2011
Bottle. Cloudy dark yellow with a creamy white head. Huge vanilla, malt, banana bread, and more vanilla aroma and taste. Nice creamy palate. Yummy.
