Pours hazy gold into a Sam glass. White head with good retention recedes leaving no lacing to skim surface. Bubblegum and banana aromas. Sweet dark caramel, bubblegum and bananas from front to back. Dry sweet banana flambe finish.

Pours a cloudy orange with almost no head. Nose and taste are of spice, muted hop, and pale malts. Mouth feel is more carbonated that it should be I think. A bit of booze. Another solid $5 bomber. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy orange with a quickly dissolving white head. Very nice aroma of wheat, oranges and alcohol. Crisp taste reminiscent of fall, October. If you like this beer, you will be doing yourself an injustice if you don’t try Celebrator by Ayinger. Overall, a good doppel weizen. I’ll try again.

TURDFERGUSON (4058) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - OCT 2, 2011
Pours a murky, layered plum orange with little to no head. Nose is strong with banana, over-ripe cantaloupe, bubble gum, vanilla, sugar. Flavor is dirty bitterness, some banana, vanilla, bubble gum. Very messy and a strange bitter taste. Needless to say, not a fan.

Jlo7399 (218) - Florida, USA - OCT 2, 2011
Pours cloudy orange-ish. Aroma is sweet bready malts and bubblegum. Tastes of banana, sweet brown bread, bubblegum and a little wheat. A little oily on the palate but certainly enjoyable.

Bottle from pikapp327. Murky orange pour with a big white head. Aroma is bananas, a little citrus, and wheat. Taste is heavy clove, a little alcohol, lots of banana and citrus, and a great finish.

Bottle courtesy Fratto/pikapp327. Pours a very cloudy light orange color with a light layer of foam. Aroma is yeasty, citrus and banana with some clove notes. Nice banana split nose. Flavor is spicy, sweet fruit with citrus and banana. Nice flavor, quite smooth. I like this.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2011 Hazy orange with good, creamy, off-white head / Nose of malt, orange, candied banana, coriander, and clove / Full body, moderately sweet and sticky, with very good hop balance and long, lightly bitter, finish / Big, perfumed, flavors of orange, banana, pineapple, violets, resin, sour malt, clove, and coriander / Not usually a fan of weizens, big or not, but this one is a beauty.

KAggie97 (3529) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - OCT 1, 2011
Pours a thick, lively cheddar yellow with a head that would make Asanthe Shiamcoe cry out "Shrinkage!" Nose is a spicy and buttery clove with a quick infusion of banana. Flavor is a barrage of boozy and earthy grain-fed clove and banana pulp. Thick on the tongue. Too earthy and blunt for my taste.

fbenz (23) - East Bethel, Minnesota, USA - SEP 30, 2011
UPDATED: MAR 28, 2012 Aromas of bananas and yeast. A bright golden color with a white head. Fruity bread flavors with just a little bit of alcohol on the finish, not much though for this strong of a beer. It is more resinous than similar beers in true Lagunitas fashion
