3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not what I expected, but a good brew none the less. Seemed to lack the dry, crisp characteristic one might associate with the style. Hoppy finish.
19 oz mug on tap at Bier:Thirty. Not sure why I ordered this beer, but I did. Not bad, but not great. I'm not a big fan of pilsners, unless I'm in the Czech Republic. meccahh69lol (366) - New Haven, Connecticut, USA - SEP 12, 2017
Surprised I had not rated this one before, but so it goes. The smell is thin lemon, heavy grass, and sweet buttered corn cob. Appearance is clear yellow piss, holy and true. The taste is watery Lagunitas (they have a house style lets be honest); it is very smooth and chill like a Boz Scaggs record in a fridge. Easy drinking and delightful for any weather, this is a favorite of the middling lager pack. Good for jamming some Joni Mitchell while lamenting how anyone could think Rihanna's hotness is overrated, and lets not even mention the Prince skeptics, unless this review get completely derailed. Sampled at a tasting at Total Wine. Not really a style I love but Lagunitas makes some good brews so had to do my due diligence. And it was OK but only OK. Jabic (733) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - JUL 22, 2017
Ar: Sulfur, chalk, and cracker malt; herbal, lemony, and spicy hops, quite refined. Ap: Yellow gold and clear; medium white head with moderate-low retention, leaving some splotchy foam cover. T: Cracker malt and chalk; bright, clean, and high bitterness up front, lingering throughout; grassy; dough and more hay, with herbal and lemony hop flavor; crackers and grass on the finish. P: Light body and steely; high carbonation; finish is dry. O: Very good pilsner; hops are bright and punchy, with a big noble European quality; malt and water profile are crisp and firm; quaffable and full of flavor. From tap at ADT. Pours clear yellow with a finger of foamy white head. Nose is pale malt and fresh cut grass. Flavors add some mild citrus and hops. Moderate carbonation, smooth, medium finish. Nice.

35cl bottle purchased @ Mondial de la bière Paris. Pils très classique qui manque un peu de la sécheresse caractéristique. nazzty (1377) - Ödåkra - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - MAY 28, 2017
Don’t expect a German or Czech pils. This brew takes an extra step and uses the pils base adding hops to create an interesting hoppy lager. balloonbuffoon (739) - - MAY 18, 2017
12floz bottle purchased as a single for $1.50, freshness is uncertain, but it goes into my pint glass anyway. Appears a translucent pale yellow with some head. Smells like a haystack and tastes like one that is growing some grass too. Medium in body and moderate in carbonation. It’s good, fairly sessionable, and definitely as close as Lagunitas gets to anything traditional in style. Wichmann (1) - Fredericia, DENMARK - MAY 11, 2017 does not count
Flot gylden farve, dejlig aroma og lidt bitter i smagen. Alt i alt en meget god pilsner.

Bottle from the Parcelyard, Leicester. Clean, flavoursome Pils, but slightly too sweet for me. Goodbye Champions League - it was a great adventure.
