12-oz bottle. Pours a rich gold color that is brilliantly clear. A lot of carbonation bubbles rise up through this beer creating a frothy, rocky head that is initially four fingers thick but dissipates quickly. Fair lacing. Aroma is grassy with hay and butter notes on the side. I get a hint of aromatic lemon & herb scents. Sweet grains are also there. The taste is lightly sweet up front and fairly spritzy throughout from the ample carbonation. Bitterness dances above the sweetness and becomes stronger as the sweetness turns buttery. Medium body with an oily texture. Long bitter finish. This is one of my first pilseners, so it is hard to say how it fares against standards in the style. But I really like it and will drink it again.
Ar: Sulfur, chalk, and cracker malt; herbal, lemony, and spicy hops, quite refined. Ap: Yellow gold and clear; medium white head with moderate-low retention, leaving some splotchy foam cover. T: Cracker malt and chalk; bright, clean, and high bitterness up front, lingering throughout; grassy; dough and more hay, with herbal and lemony hop flavor; crackers and grass on the finish. P: Light body and steely; high carbonation; finish is dry. O: Very good pilsner; hops are bright and punchy, with a big noble European quality; malt and water profile are crisp and firm; quaffable and full of flavor. From tap at ADT. Pours clear yellow with a finger of foamy white head. Nose is pale malt and fresh cut grass. Flavors add some mild citrus and hops. Moderate carbonation, smooth, medium finish. Nice. stupre (344) - Nanterre, FRANCE - JUL 2, 2017
35cl bottle purchased @ Mondial de la bière Paris. Pils très classique qui manque un peu de la sécheresse caractéristique. nazzty (1376) - Ödåkra - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - MAY 28, 2017
Don’t expect a German or Czech pils. This brew takes an extra step and uses the pils base adding hops to create an interesting hoppy lager. balloonbuffoon (330) - - MAY 18, 2017
12floz bottle purchased as a single for $1.50, freshness is uncertain, but it goes into my pint glass anyway. Appears a translucent pale yellow with some head. Smells like a haystack and tastes like one that is growing some grass too. Medium in body and moderate in carbonation. It’s good, fairly sessionable, and definitely as close as Lagunitas gets to anything traditional in style.

Flot gylden farve, dejlig aroma og lidt bitter i smagen. Alt i alt en meget god pilsner.

Bottle from the Parcelyard, Leicester. Clean, flavoursome Pils, but slightly too sweet for me. Goodbye Champions League - it was a great adventure. ichmachebier (16) - - APR 11, 2017
Aroma: Very lite aroma. No off aromas noted.
Appearance: Clear yellow with no cloudiness. Very nice.
Taste: Very good pilsner. What I would expect from Lagunitas.
Palate: Lite body with lively carbonation at start, maintained through pint.
Overall: Very good beer all the way through, and Im not a fan of pilsners. Niko100 (2913) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 30, 2017

Flaska. Gul med ett generöst vitt skum. Dofter av säd, blomster och gräs. Smakinslag av malt, blomster och säd. En lätt sötma i avslutningen.
