COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The 4th beer in our ScareCity series is a cornucopia…It’s big and fruity smooth – banana-y, strawberry-y, & peach-y – and vinous – hot, earthy, & chewy. It’s a freakin’ psycho-smoothie, qu’est-ce que c’est… fa fa fa FA FA fa fa fa FA FA.

(2015). Copper colored wheat whine with a decent head. Tropical fruit and papaya nose that leads to a candied fruit body bursting with apricot and papaya notes. Syrupy sweet, with a feint bitterness adding minimal counterbalance at the end of the palate. Saccharine.

Love this. I confess to drinking cheap malt liquor and this is maybe the best (not cheap, though not expenisve) I’ve had. Golden with a thin white heat. Aromas of brandied peaches--sweet and alcohol, full and fruity--with oak and sunshine. Flavor-wise the alcohol rules but its not overboard--there’s honey, resin and peaches. My breath may be flammable. Thanks Beermongers. Would like to age this a year or two.

Wheat rye and booze aroma. Basic appearance. Sweet wheaty taste, slight booze, kind of a mess. Good palate. Kinda harsh. Okay, rare but forgettable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

probstblueribbon (4088) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 1, 2016
Sample at Farmhouse Burlington. Clear light amber with a thin white head. Sweet and boozy with a grapefruit hop profile, booze, peppery, caramel. Medium+body with fairly limited bitterness. Sweet honey, brain, quite peppery and dank, caramel; very sweet and quite bitter with a long peppery/dank finish. Not something to drink in quantity.

Pours a murky golden-orange with a foamy white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. A foamy curtain of lace coats the glass on the drink down. Aroma of grain, fruit juice and fruit cocktail. Taste is much the same with grain, wheat, fruit and caramel flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. A good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel.

Draught at The Beer Trappe. Sticky malty Double IPA (wheatwine? not sure about that) with some nice citrus tones. Decent overall.

Draught. Big full flavour, alcohol warmth, and floral nose. Really well crafted and accessible. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

beertholomeus (1814) - California, USA - JUL 21, 2015
Pours a golden color with a white head. Caramel, oak, alcohol, fruit and biscuit aroma and flavors. Medium full body with average carbonation. Sweet caramel and booze finish.

Bebum (1098) - Massachusetts, USA - JUL 17, 2015
Light amber. Full body and densely flavored, rich and hot mouthfeel, long palate. Intensely bittersweet, great balance. Resiny, hoppy. Delicious but not stand out in personality. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
